We extend our sincerest gratitude to everyone who contributed to the Blanchard River Clean Up. A total of 3,571 pounds of trash and 17 tires were removed from the Blanchard River, spanning from The Ottawa Reservoir to Arrowhead Park. We appreciate the dedication of all volunteers who donated their time over the weekend and continue to do so beyond this event.
Furthermore, we would like to thank Putnam Water and Soil and Go Ottawa for their role in organizing this event, as well as H2Ohio for providing the grant. H2Ohio

A productive day was had on the Blanchard River, where a considerable amount of trash was collected. Glass, a lantern, and metal bars were among the items retrieved from the river. We are looking forward to another successful cleanup event tomorrow. Kayaks and canoes are still available for use at no charge for tomorrow's event 10am-2pm.

Megan and I previously worked together, so when she contacted us for a weekday date with her husband, we were happy to have them. They spotted two bald eagles, several kingfishers, and a blue heron that led them through the Blanchard. Thanks again for joining us from Findlay.
