It’s almost my Birthday!!!

Have you heard of 75 Hard?

It’s a mental toughness challenge that’s all the rage right now.

I’m already doing ALL of the things on this list as I countdown the days to stage but I’d love for you to join me for 30 of those days while we celebrate my Birthday month 🥳 🎂!

So I’m putting together a group, who are ready to celebrate (but maybe don’t want to leave their house), who maybe aren’t ready for 75 days, but could definitely commit to 30!

𝟑𝟎 𝐊𝐈𝐍𝐃𝐀 𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐝.

30 days
Two workouts (one BOD or BODi, one outdoor like a walk, bike, swim)
Follow a nutrition plan.
10 min of personal development (my faveeee)
Appropriate water intake (oh yeah!)
Give up ONE thing for 30 days (I highly recommend alcohol 💪🏻🍷)

30 days.
JUST 30 days.

How do you finish?

When your at the end of a challenging workout how do you finish?

Do you stand strong and confident finishing strong?

Are you smirking away the pain attempting to find the belief in yourself?

Do you let the fatigue tucker you out leaving you wondering what just happened!?

Or are you like me, determined to make the last reps your strongest mentally, putting a smile on your face and pushing to the very finding pride in what you have just done!?

Which are you? Honestly!

There’s a war going on…

There is only one possible outcome…that outcome is determined by the choices you make and the mindset you choose.

Why is it a war!? Because it is hard AF! It is hard to look in the mirror at reality, it is hard to not have imposter syndrome, it is hard to have the tough conversations with yourself when your actions don’t align with your goals.

But you are capable! You are worthy! You deserve to fight for you! Whatever that goal may be, whatever that war is, it is time to look in the mirror and take control!

I have no idea what the total picture is with my gut issues, I have no idea what direction the path is going to go…however I do know I will keep fighting to figure out the answers, I will not let it stop me from competing (unless it is medically necessary), and I will not let it take down my mindset!

So tell me, what is your war? What are you fighting for!?

Energy is a created force in nature…

The same holds true for us, motion, activation, flow, gratitude creates the energy inside us.

Finger to finger eyes closed palms up focus your mind on the energy flowing from finger to finger through your arms, creating a circuit of flow spreading down your back to your hearts center. Feel the power created.

I came into drained and I left fulfilled and energetic.

If you find yourself drained, lacking energy, unsure how to start. Remember a body in motion stays in motion. Connect with yourself feel the energy flow, start with movement, give yourself 5 min and watch it turn to 10.

The fight!

Every day is a fight, you can stand up and fight or you can lay down and take it.

But you will never win a fight looking behind yourself.

This week I have taken a few punches and I started to look back. Today I decided to take the mental step and literally go for a fight. It felt so good to take some aggression out during my workout. YOU can do the same. Use your fitness to support you, not just your health or your appearance but to it daily life!

Physical change is simply a surface level glimpse at what is truly going on on the inside.

Imagine going on a journey that changes who you are as a parent. That provides stress relief, a sense of belonging and a community that understands you for you.

The ability to handle the hardest of days more collected than you have ever been.

💫 That is what is being under the surface here!

💕 My kids now have a mom that can keep up with them, that can challenge them, and that can confidently fight for them. That alone makes every single moment on this journey 100% worth it.

So, what would you like to do that you currently can’t imagine being able to? What would be the transformation under the surface?

Consistency…

How do you get it done every day with your schedule?

Give yourself six months…six months of consistently showing up. 6 months of permission to not be perfect but to instead be consistent.

It doesn’t happen overnight and so often we are so busy focusing on being perfect that you stress yourself out to the point that you quit…not because you truly didn’t want to, but instead because you set yourself up for something that isn’t achievable…perfection!

I personally struggled hugely until I finally said, okay I’m going to start this program…I’m going to do my best and do what I can and I expect nothing more of myself. You know what, I have been consistent as hell ever since that day (like I’ve only missed days of being sick or planned rest days). I had to free myself from the pressure of trying to achieve something that wasn’t realistic.

The same is true today when I’m in the midst of prep, 2 boys playing 2 sports, working full time, running my business and team, and back to school (which by the way when your a pediatric therapist every single one of your kids is going through the back to school crazy)!

I have plans and goals but I know that if I need to switch it up I can and it will be okay! Todays cardio got crammed into a tiny time block and I was out the door with in 10 min of these very sweaty selfies. Yup…I went somewhere still a bit sweaty with my dinner in hand and not a single person cared!

If you want consistency give yourself 6 months of realistic expectations!

Confidence…

It isn’t all or nothing! It is more sometimes you feel it sometimes you don’t!

The only thing that should always be true about it…is that it should never stop you from giving something a try, and it should never persuade you to not try your best!

Today in a room full of women, most with their 🍑 out I was able to watch confidence wax and wain…but what didn’t change was the desire to put forth effort!

Truly inspiring!
