Competition can be good for kids. It can motivate them to work harder, develop resilience, learn social skills, set goals, and develop healthy habits.
However, it's important to keep competition in perspective and ensure it is age-appropriate and conducted in a safe and healthy manner.
Children should be encouraged to enjoy the process of competing and focus on personal growth and improvement, rather than just winning at all costs.πͺ

Setting goals is a valuable skill for children to learn because it helps them develop self-discipline, motivation, and a sense of accomplishment. To help your child set goals:
1. Make them specific and achievable.
2. Involve your child in the process.
3. Set both short-term and long-term goals.
4. Use positive reinforcement when they reach a goal.
5. Set an example by setting and working towards your own goals.
6. If you can get a picture with a stormtrooper...do it. Immediately.
By following these tips, you can help your child learn the importance of goal setting and develop the skills they need to succeed.

Does your child take the easy way out?
Does your child give up easily?
Well..... you may be dealing with a "fixed" mindset rather than a "growth" mindset.
One way to help your child become more growth-minded is to encourage them to take on challenges and to not be afraid of failure.
Help them understand that failure is a natural part of the learning process and can be a valuable opportunity for growth.
Praise their effort and perseverance, rather than just their intelligence or talent. Encourage them to set goals and work towards them, and to reflect on their progress.
Also, model a growth mindset yourself and talk to your child about how you approach challenges and setbacks in your own life.
