KCWHL is headed to Colorado! 🏔️🏒

We’ve officially committed 2 teams for the Front Range Face-Off Tournament in Littleton, CO on May 8-10, and now we’re looking for more players who want in.

We’re planning to bring:
1 Beginner/Novice team
1 Bronze/Intermediate team

This tournament is a really fun chance to get out of town, play more hockey, represent KCWHL, and be part of an all-women’s event that also supports girls’ and women’s hockey players in need. A hockey road trip for a good cause? Pretty hard to hate that.

Details:
📍 Edge Ice Arena, Littleton, CO
📅 May 8-10, 2026
🏒 Beginner + Bronze divisions
✅ USA Hockey registration required
🔞 Must be 21+
⏳ Spots will be limited

If you’ve been wanting to try a tournament, meet more players across the league, or just build community outside of our usual Sunday nights, we’d love to have you join us.

🎉 KCWHL Sunday Results – March 8 🎉

Game 1: Rink Pony Club 2 vs Sirens 1
🩷 Rink Pony Club: The Ponies pulled out a tight win in a physical, hard-fought matchup. Clare and Nat found the back of the net, and Lauren earned Game MVP for her strong play and steady presence throughout the game. Both teams brought a lot of intensity, but RPC stayed in it and capitalized on their chances to secure the 2–1 victory.
🩵 Sirens: The Sirens matched that intensity shift for shift in a very evenly played game. Chloe G. scored the Sirens’ goal, and Michelle K. earned Game MVP for stellar backchecking and making an impact every time she was on the ice. Strong defensive positioning and a ton of blocked shots kept the Sirens right in the battle all night. A competitive matchup between two teams that pushed each other to play hard.

Game 2: Jackalopes 4 vs Ice Devils 2
💙 Jackalopes: The Jacks brought the offense with goals from Kari, Debbie, and Val (2). Kara earned Game MVP for her standout play, and a big welcome to Bianca in her KCWHL debut. A strong team effort helped the Jackalopes secure the win.
❤️ Ice Devils: The Devils battled hard with great pressure and backchecking throughout the game. Lauren and Laura scored the Devils’ goals, and Lauren also earned Game MVP honors for her strong performance. It was also great to see Andy and Neatha back on the ice bringing energy to the lineup.

🎉 KCWHL Sunday Results 🎉

Because of last week’s reschedule, this post is going a little out of order. Game 2 was played this past Sunday, and Game 1 the week before. The energy has been high across the league as teams keep improving and games are getting tighter every week.

Game 2 (3/1/26): Jackalopes 5 vs Sirens 4 (Shootout)

💙 Jackalopes: The Jacks battled through a tight back-and-forth game that ended 4–4 in regulation, forcing a shootout. Debbie sealed the win with the deciding shootout goal and earned Game MVP honors for her clutch performance. Goals during regulation came from Courtney, Val, Emily, and Brooke, with the offense spreading the scoring across the lineup. It was a strong full team effort with the Jackalopes staying composed under pressure and finding a way to close it out when it mattered most.

🩵 Sirens: The Sirens pushed hard all game and kept the pressure on the Jackalopes until the very end. Nyasha and Becky each scored two goals, leading the offensive charge and keeping the game neck and neck throughout regulation. Kristina earned Game MVP after stepping up in a huge way by moving from her usual defense or forward position into goalie for the night. She handled the challenge with confidence and made several key saves to keep the Sirens right in the fight.

Game 1 (2/22/26): Rink Pony Club 5 vs Ice Devils 0

🩷 Rink Pony Club: The Ponies delivered a strong all-around performance and controlled the pace from start to finish. Sarah stood tall in net and recorded a shutout, turning away every Devils chance that came her way. Offensively, RPC spread the scoring with goals from Clare, Sabrina (2), Chelsea, and Nat. Laura earned Game MVP for her standout play and impact across the ice, helping drive a complete team effort on both ends of the rink.

❤️ Ice Devils: The Devils kept battling throughout the game and showed strong teamwork with crisp passing and sustained offensive zone time. Game MVP honors were shared between Andy and Natalie for their standout performances. Andy anchored the defense with strong positioning and smart plays to break up rushes, while Natalie brought steady effort and impact throughout the game. Overall, the Devils had great puck movement and some solid zone time, showing strong communication and teamwork shift after shift.

Crisp puck movement, strong defensive structure, and relentless pressure made this a complete team performance from top to bottom.
💙 Jackalopes: The Jacks battled hard against a tough RPC squad. Val earned team MVP after flying all over the ice, making clutch defensive plays and carrying the puck end to end to spark offense. She continues to be a dynamic, quick-thinking presence every shift. Willow subbed in net and put on a show, stopping a ton of shots and even coaching from the crease. A big welcome to Kara and Riley, who joined for their evaluation skates and both made an impact. Kara is getting back into her skates after time away, and Riley is brand new to the sport. Love seeing new players jump in and compete.

🎉 KCWHL Sunday Results 🎉

Game 1: Rink Pony Club 5 vs Ice Devils 2
❤️ Ice Devils: Nicole and Natalie put the Devils on the board, and Kit stood on her head in net. She earned Game MVP after turning away multiple breakaway chances and keeping things tight when RPC’s offense was buzzing. The Devils also had some of their best puck movement of the season with crisp passing and strong pressure that created real opportunities.

🩷 Rink Pony Club: The Ponies came ready to roll and put together a complete team win. Goals from Sabrina, Nat, Heather, and Clare (2) kept the energy high all game. Game MVP went to one of RPC’s newest players, Lauren, who made an immediate impact and looked right at home in the lineup.

Game 2: Jackalopes 6 vs Sirens 3
🩵 Sirens: The Sirens battled hard from start to finish and kept pushing through heavy pressure. Chloe G. played her first game with the KCWHL as a Siren and made an instant statement with two goals, earning team MVP. Becky scored again for her fifth straight game, continuing to be that reliable, steady force the Sirens can lean on when the game gets scrappy.

💙 Jackalopes: The Jacks were absolutely flying. Val was the undisputed MVP 👑 with FOUR goals, hitting the hat trick and then casually adding a fourth like it was no big deal. Erica was on a tear, Erin Johnson added a goal, and Anna picked up an assist in a big welcome-to-the-league moment. Another highlight was Emma stepping up defensively with fearless plays and snagging her first assist on Erin’s goal. Total team effort, loud bench energy, and a fun one to watch.
