We are so proud of Bohdi for stepping up and leading our Advanced Leadership students through our oath!

Standing in front of a room full of older students takes courage, but Bohdi stepped up, spoke with confidence, and commanded the room. He showed us that leadership isn’t about how old you are or how big you are — it’s about having the confidence to step forward and use your voice.

That’s one of the things we love most about martial arts. From our youngest Tigers to our adults, students are given opportunities to build confidence, practice leadership, speak in front of others, and learn that their voice matters.

Save this for the next meltdown — three things that actually work better than "calm down."

1. Get down to their eye level before you say anything.
2. Name what they're feeling instead of telling them to stop feeling it.
3. Give them one small choice, so they feel back in control.
