It includes a throws pentathlon, music, food, and most importantly a place where throwers are at the center of it all.

It all starts tomorrow morning at Johnson County's Track. The meet starts at 9:00 am so if you are competing please be there by 8:30 to be sure you have enough time to warm-up. VS Athletics, Gill, and Dominator Athletics will all be there selling their equipment at extremely discounted prices. If you are a junior high, high school, college, or post collegiate thrower you will not find equipment for any cheaper and without that ridiculous shipping charge. Throwstock shirts will also be on sale. I hope to see everyone there!!!
Throwstock may be moved to Sunday. The weather is looking horrible for Saturday with the possibility of hail and tornados. I will be putting updates up on the Throwstock page and my page.
Just a reminder, if you have an old cell phone that you no longer use or if any of your family and friends have a cell phone that they no longer use you can bring it to Throwstock. With every cell phone donation you will get three tosses with a cell phone. The longest throw of the day will get a brand new LG Spectrum 4g phone. Every cell phone donated, Verizon will donate to a battered women's shelter in the Kansas City area.
Please share this page with any of your throws friends to spread the word. This is my fifth year doing this event and this is by far bigger and better than it has ever been before. It is one of the few throws pentathlons in the country. The meet is open to high school, college, open, or masters athletes.
Throwstock 2012 is slated for Oct 13th at Johnson County Stadium in Overland Park, Ks.
