Our Sun Devils Baseball - Kansas 13U - Rogers take the field for the first time this fall in the Sonic Blast at The 3&2 Baseball Club Friday night. Best of luck Devils, Hit’em where they ain’t.

This weekend was about honoring Coach Bob and helping Kesem at University of Kansas do the amazing work they do. Thank you seems so insufficient for the gratitude I have for every person, business and baseball program that made the 3rd Annual Bob Sand Memorial Tournament the success it was.

Twenty teams over three age divisions filled Saddle Club Park this weekend. Great games were played, fun was had and hopefully great memories made. A huge shoutout to Janice Rummel, Sam Elliott, Blair Barr, John Kopina, Aaron Harrell, and Joe Allison for all returning to play another year.

Our sponsors, who without, this weekend would not be a success. Another thanks to those mentioned in previous post and to Bev Moss McAuley, your game day delivery was delicious and a popular choice at the concession stand. The Torn Edge, Olivia’s LLC for your silent auction basket, Matt Woehrle for your silent auction donation and working the grill.

Finally, to my Sun Devils Baseball - Kansas. When we started this three years ago none of us knew what to expect but yet you jumped in, both feet, fully committed. ❤️ your commitment to our team, this tournament, and our Why. It did not matter that we didn’t have a team playing, you showed up, worked hard and made me very proud.

I can’t wait for the 2027 Bob Sand Memorial.
