Drill and Dance Dynamics

Four of my dance girls took two routines to the Legacy Dance Competition today and did an amazing job! They brought home an Elite Gold trophy for their trio routine and a Gold trophy for their hip hop routine. The trio won the First Place Overall High score trophy in the duo/trio novice category and the girls won the Second Place Overall High score trophy for their hip hop! So proud of them! Such a fun competition!!

The girls did a wonderful job at our dance competition yesterday!! They received the top award for all 90's or better from every judge in every routine! The also won the award for best jazz routine. Best of all they won the Top Academic award for the highest GPA in the intermediate age division 3.804. Great Job Ladies!

Both classes finished their routines last night! So excited for our first performance on Feb. 18th!!

After searching for a dance school for Brynn and not finding what I am looking for, I have decided to start my own dance school. It is going to be a lot different from the other dance schools around the area. We will focus on learning dance routines and then publicly performing them once a month. It has been my experience that most young adolescent dancers may have good dance experience, but lack experience performing in public. This is something that I think needs to start at a younger age. Our costume prices are going to be kept to a minimum and our monthly membership is the lowest that I have found in the area for a performing group. This is something that I have wanted to do for years and I am so excited to begin teaching.
