Great job by our 20 boys that competed today at the Lyman Juggernaut and wrestled over 60 matches! Special shout out to all the guys who have not wrestled high school matches ever and wrestled in this preseason tournament today!
Remember: off season wrestling = in season success.

Shout out to our girls who wrestled over 30 matches in the Lyman Juggernaut today! Invaluable experience was gained for all, especially Victoria, Alexis, Ava, Emerson, Rosa, and Hally, all whom are entering their first season of high school wrestling this year. Great job ladies!

Another outstanding practice, new wrestlers are coming along great, returners are getting better at fundamentals. We rewarded them with a few rounds of Lions and Gazelles, formerly know as sharks and minnows.

Another solid practice today with a lot of learning! Returners got to keep learning how it feels to coach: quote of the practice from a returner while coaching a new wrestler “why are you looking at me? You can wrestle and listen to what I’m saying”. Also, new wrestlers got a taste of spin drill at the end of practice too. Good things going in the first two weeks of preseason!!!

Today! 2:45 in the room, back of the RWL Gym. Girls: meet at 2:25 and Coach Waters will let you in the locker room. Head over and come in through the left to get to the wrestling room. BOYS: please enter on the left side of the back of the RWL locker room. Coach Waters and K will be there to help direct you.
