WHAT A WAY TO END OUR FALL SEASON!!
Just one week ago, we faced a very talented team that handed us a run-rule loss. Fast forward seven days, and we found ourselves facing that same team in the championship game. After two innings, we were down 4-0. But this group of ladies had other plans!
They didn’t panic. They didn’t quit. They just kept fighting! One pitch, one play, and one inning at a time, they battled their way back and pulled off an incredible 5-4 comeback victory to be crowned CHAMPIONS OF THE FIGHTER! 🏆
A huge tip of the hat to Bombers 2K13. They are an elite team from top to bottom — pitching, catching, hitting, coaching, and everything in between. We certainly won’t take this victory lightly. I’m confident there will be many more battles between these two teams in the future, and every time we step on the field together, we will push each other to become better.
I’m incredibly proud of the fight, heart, and determination our girls showed this weekend. Finishing 7-1 and bringing home a championship is a great accomplishment, but the biggest takeaway is the growth, resilience, and toughness this team continues to develop.
Now it’s time to recharge the batteries, enjoy some well-earned downtime, and reflect on everything we’ve accomplished this fall.
We’ll get back to work this winter, continue building, continue developing, and come out ready to compete in Spring 2027!
Proud of this team. Proud of their fight. Proud of the direction we’re headed!
