DC FIRE

Last night the boys, coaches and parents went to the Louisville Bats game. We even got a shoutout on the Jumbotron. We woke up early had a good breakfast and headed off to the field. Today was a day we don’t do often, 95+ heat almost all day. Games ran behind and these boys stayed to fight. They picked each other up and pushed each other to the finish line. Went 3-0 against some strong teams. Super proud of these boys and the effort they put in today. I cannot wait to see what this year holds. 1st 14u tournament in the books 14u champs!!

We had a great turnout to first night of try outs. We have 1 more try out and then we will start sending out offers. I appreciate everyone who took the time to sign up and show up.

Try outs will be this week. Instead of the traditional “tryout” format this will be an open practice.

Wear Baseball attire
Pants, cleats, shirt, belt, hat.
Bring baseball gear that is needed.

We are looking for dedicated, motivated and coachable players. Pitching and catching experience is a plus but not required.

Head Coach Brence Scott will reach out when a try out date is set in stone. We are planning on having try outs between July 12 & July 25.

We went 2-1 today. Great day. Fell short but it is all good. We was competing with some really good teams and can’t wait to see what we do next tournament!!!
