Congratulations to the 3 UP 3 DOWN USSSA Gone Bananas 13AAA Gold Bracket Champions: KY Legends and the Runner Up DC Fire!!

This weekend was one for the books. In pool play these boys played their butts off!! We went 2-0 and took the 3rd seed. We showed up Sunday & had a devotional before we started to get ready to play. We were missing church to play baseball and we wouldnt be able to play if it wasnt for our Lord and Savior. So we did a small devotional and got our minds right. We played a great AAA team and came out victorious. A hard fought battle to get us to the championship and they over came a lot of adversity on the field. Maybe it was was the heat, maybe it was the sitting between games but we didn’t play up to par in the championship. We can always ask what if but what is done is done. We left #2 overall in the tournament and I could not be more proud of these boys. They stayed composed & battled it out. Wouldn’t trade this team for any other! Now it’s time to get back to work & get ready for the next tournament.
