The 8U Dirt Devils had a great showing in their first tournament as a team (with only 5-6 practices under our belt). They showed up at 7 AM and didn’t leave the ball park until close to 9 PM. They played 5 games total, with breaks between each game. They battled all day and lost by 1 run in the championship game to finish runner up in the 3Up3Down Hendo Throw Down 8Open tourney. We are excited about getting back to work.

What a spring and summer it has been for this incredible 8U group!
This season wasn’t just about wins and losses—it was about growth, friendships, and learning what it truly means to be a team. These players showed up every day ready to work hard, encourage one another, and compete the right way. Their dedication, positive attitudes, and willingness to improve made this season one to remember.
We’re so proud of everything these boys accomplished together and grateful to our families for their endless support all season long.
Now it’s time for the next chapter! We can’t wait to see this team take on the challenge of 9U and live pitching this fall. It will bring new obstacles, new lessons, and even more opportunities to grow—and we know this group is ready for it.
Here’s to an unforgettable season and an exciting future ahead. Let’s keep working, keep improving, and keep having fun. Fall ball, here we come! ⚾️
