Pulled out 1 more W and Big Fish. Fishing a tournament down in Tennessee on the Tennessee River. 139.7lbs in a 3 fish tournament and big fish at 79.3. Myself along with Jody Beavin and a touch of Rusty Morris. Had the best tournament fishing year ever, for us. Fished 10 tournaments with 6 wins and 2 3rd places. Mainly fishing the Ohio River. Learning to pull planner boards has became our #1 weapon. After 5 years of trying different routes, speeds and areas we've finally put some learning to work. Merry Christmas my friends and Happy New Year. Hope you Keep Um tight and all catch that fish of a lifetime !!!

Sorry for the gap in posting, been super busy. It's been a very good summer on the water. Despite all the negativity in the world. Going take a minute and thank some folks that have had a MAJOR role in HELPING me. Adam Winder, Demetrius Kinnis, Rob Benningfield for teaching me ropes. Jody Beavin, Ben Goebel, Rusty Morris, Brad Pruett for spending time on the water learning together. SeaArk Boats, Monster Rod Holders, Big Cat Fever Rods for supplying with top of the line equipment. Last but not least the Man upstairs, my Family and my Friends. I do appreciate you ALL and don't say it near enough. Here's a few pics from a great summer on the water !!! KeepUm Tight Y'all

Went back to the Tennessee River this weekend with my good friend Rusty Morris aka Froglegs. Man what a difference 7 days can make. When water temps warm above 70. We caught plenty of fish but nothing over 10lbs. The SPAWN IS ON !! Lots a fun and more learning, actually walked baits for the first time on the Tennessee River. Yes they bite well walking baits, too. Keep Um Tight my Friends !!

My goal last week was to set new PB on a flathead. Job completed with a 50lber. Even add the hardest fighting Bluecat I ever actually got in the boat. Not a PB at 70lbs but this fish had some FIRE. Can not express to you how important it is. To understand what your fishfinder is showing you. Then have the knowledge to take advantage of what your seeing. They are a VERY valuable tool !! Thinking bout doing some more Tennessee River fishing this weekend (ohio river is blowed out). Hopefully the big boys & girls have not went into FULL blown spawn yet. Keep Um Tight my friends.

Been stuck in Kentucky for 2 months but the travel ban has been lifted. Tennessee River here I come. Going try something I don't normally do and try to catch some flatheads !! I've fished hard for at least 12 years and probably caught somewhere between 10 - 20 flats ever. My personal best is probably around 40lbs. My goal is to break that !!! I'll keep you posted. Keep Um Tight my friends !!

Had a good couple days down on Old Hickory Lake in Tennessee last week. Went down Monday with some fresh skips and caught 22 fish. 7 of those fish were over the 34in limit in Tennessee. Biggest was 53lbs on Monday. Went back Saturday with frozen bait and only caught 6. Did manage to catch my PB on the Cumberland River weighing in at 63lbs and a 52. Been targeting structure on ledges, anchored up. Here's a few photos from last week. Stay safe my friends and hope to see you out fishing soon. Keep Um Tight !

First day of prefishing and looking is in the books. Got on some fish this morning. Then it got hot and we went to looking. Crazy river down here in Memphis. We seen spots with over 100ft of water. 5mph current to the river running backwards. Hopefully we find a couple spots tomorrow holding fish. Tight Lines Y'all !!

Another really good evening on the Ohio River. Thank you mother nature for what you do. Keeping the river so high the last 2 springs. Allowing fish to move freely and keeping the nets out my pool. Fishing is fun but catching is what drives the angler !! All fish caught drifting or spotlocking on groups of fish. 42lbs was big fish for the night.
