Feel free to gather for the regular Tuesday night Community Ride at McCellan; however, be aware that the Oxford students and coaches will not be attending the ride tomorrow (July 14th) due to this honor.

Picking up limbs and picking up miles at the Community Ride today! The automatic limb picker upper on the bikes were working great today! The rear cassette and rear derailleur works great for picking up the sticks!

Father and son riding together for the Cheaha Challenge cruise ride. Steven Bryant came out with his hand cycle and Kerrigan Bryant rode his mountain bike all the way to the state line and back, for a total of 50 miles!
Kerrigan just finished racing this season for Oxford as a 7th grader and decided he wasn’t done with putting in the the miles just because the ACA season was over.
Well done to both of you… and such a great way to enjoy some father/son time.

Congratulations to Jaxon Carter who raced the Cheaha Challenge Gran Fondo (100-miles and about 10,000’ of elevation) today. He made the trek from Jacksonville to Cheaha and back in just over 6 hours on a gravel bike and secured a 25th place finish amongst some big competition… most of which were on proper skinny-tired road bikes.
Very impressive, especially in the high heat of the day. Way to continue with your cycling journey, Jaxon.
