Oxford Park Commission Pickleball

Dear Pickleballers,

We're closer, but not all the way there in terms of opening back up the gyms. There will be NO free play Pickleball on Tuesday, January 23, 2024 at both centers. Our staff worked hard at clearing away ice in the parking lots, walkways and other spaces leading into the complexes, but there was still a safety concern to consider that led to this decision.

We will provide additional details on Tuesday as the day progresses. We're hoping the rain really helps eliminate the ice on the roofs and courtyard areas. Hope to see you soon. Take care.

No Pickleball on Wednesday due to weather-related closures.

There will be no Pickleball in either center on Tuesday, January 16 due to the recent winter weather.

For those that join us in the mornings for Pickleball during the week, play is limited to just the Coach Howell Center during the next 8 weeks due to summer day camp being hosted in the Oxford Activity Center.

With the MHSAA team and individual state tennis championships coming to FNC Tennis Center, there will be NO indoor Pickleball played in either the Coach Howell or the Oxford Activity Centers Monday, April 24 through Wednesday, April 26. We will continue to update any changes through this website and through the Oxford Park Commission page.

Due to the tournament schedule, there will be NO free play Pickleball on Saturday in either of our buildings.

Our indoor facilities will be closed on Friday, April 7 and we will NOT be hosting Pickleball inside at either building.

This is the final weekend to register for spring break camp! Quick Start Tennis with Abby Flowers is also filling up quickly for the spring semester!

Youth basketball will be coming to a close this week, so starting the week of Monday, February 27, Pickleball will be available again at nights in the Oxford Activity Center.

We have a new way for us to keep up with the OPC Pickleball community.

We are asking each of you to register for the Free Play Contact list that is now available through the OPC website at oxfordparkcommission.com/currentlyregistering. It is Free to sign up. There are 3 divisions (Beginner 2.0-3.0; Intermediate 3.0-3.9 and Advanced 4.0-5.99) to sign up for. This information will help us better serve the Pickleball community in the future.
