We are stronger together!! 🖤🧡
The dedication of our youth sports volunteers is bar none. While most see what happens on the fields/courts/studios, it is what goes on behind the scenes that is often unrecognized.
Over the spring, an injury sustained at Ruel Fields prompted this group of league administrators to ban together to raise funds for the purpose of player safety. Our first goal is to raise enough money to put safety netting around all softball fences, so our children, spectators, and cars (iykyk 😬) are further protected.

We are excited to announce that several of Oxford’s youth sports organizations have come together to create a new nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting youth sports in Oxford, MA! The Oxford Youth Sports Account
⚾🥎⚽🏈🏀🏐🥋🏑📣

Our goal is simple: work together to make youth sports stronger, more accessible, and sustainable for all of our kids.

The nonprofit was created to help offset expenses that are outside the usual and typical costs of running a youth sports season, including player tuition assistance, scholarships, capital improvements, equipment, facilities, and other projects that benefit our young athletes.

All donations and funds raised will be used to support the operation, improvement, and expansion of youth sports organizations serving the Oxford community.

The organization will be run collaboratively by the presidents of the participating leagues and organizations, including—but not limited to:

🥎 Oxford Lassie League Softball
🏈📣 Oxford Webster Pirates Youth Football & Cheer
⚽ Oxford Youth Soccer
🏑 Oxford Youth Field Hockey
🏐 Dragons Volleyball Club
🥋 Bushi Karate Club
🏀 Oxford Webster Vipers Travel Basketball

🤝 Our vision goes beyond individual leagues. We believe that when we work together, we can accomplish more for our athletes, our families, and our entire community.

We look forward to working collaboratively with the Town of Oxford to improve and maintain our shared recreational spaces, create better opportunities for our kids, and make thoughtful investments that benefit youth sports for years to come.
