On Monday, April 6, 2026, the OMS Girls and Boys Track Teams traveled to Pearl, MS to compete in the MHSAA State Track Meet.

Our athletes competed hard and recorded numerous personal best performances throughout the meet. The Girls team finished 10th overall, and the Boys team placed 14th out of 31 teams.

Some of our top finishers included State Champion Gayle Ginn, who won the High Jump with a jump of 4’10”, and Trinity Herron, who finished 3rd place in the 100m Dash with a time of 12.69.

We are extremely proud of the effort, growth, and determination shown by all of our athletes this season. OMS Track represented our school with pride!
