WOW, what a day. Congratulations to the Hamilton Aggies golf team playing in the WAC Tournament. Out of the three JP Golf Academy students on the team, all of them had personal triumphs. All of which are in their first year of not only playing the game, but competing in tournaments.
SAMUEL SUTTON shot his lowest 9 holes ever (61) either in competition or regular round. AMAZING.
NOAH BOYETT shot his lowest competitive round (55) on his second nine. He also only topped one shot the whole day. AMAZING.
BRIELY BALLARD shot her two lowest 9 holes ever. 55-57. She beat her previously lowest score only shot three days earlier.
AMAZING.
I am extremely proud of all of you. Keep up the good work.
Jason Peterson Golf Academy
My name is Jason Peterson. Im a PGA Professional offering private golf lessons to adults and children
Congratulations to Briley Ballard on shooting a 59 on 9 holes for the first time. That's about 15 strokes less than her average when she started at the beginning of this year. Keep practicing and you will get rid of another 15 strokes in no time.
Many shots are spoiled at the last instant by efforts to add a few more yards.

Another successful lesson. With a finish like that, no one can stop Briley.

Congratulations to the Hamilton golf team and to the individuals that earned runner up at the Marion County Golf Tournament. Hard work and doing your best will always pay off.
I never learned anything from a match that I won.

Golf lesson - Tip of the week: Spend 70% Of Your Practice Within 50 Yards Of The Pin. This is not the fun part of the game to practice but this is the fastest way to cut strokes off your game.
Birdie ball limited flight practice set. 12 balls and a strike pad- $43.99. / 12 balls, 2 strike pads and a target- 87.99
My students get a 10 percent discount on all birdie ball equipment ordered through the academy.
Golf lesson- tip of the week: Tempo and balance go together like peanut butter and jelly. When you have the proper tempo, you create good balance. If you can finish a swing on balance, you have a much higher chance of getting a good result than if you are falling off balance during the swing.
Golf lesson- tip of the week: Swing The Club; Don't Hit The Ball. Amateur golfers hit the ball. Swing the club through the ball to a picturesque finish.
Golf lesson- tip of the week: Take One Extra Club. Leave your ego at home. Take an extra club and swing it 80%. Your balance will get better and you will start hitting more solid shots.
A statement that all athletes need to follow when practicing to be the best, "MASTER THE BORING".
