Good Ole' Fashioned Swim

Dear families,

I’m so excited to have you and your child join me for swim lessons this summer! We’re going to have so much fun—and continue to make great progress in the water, too.

A few important reminders:

Parents are required to stay on the premises of the location of the swimming pool.

Bathing suits are required for all swim lessons.

If your child is not potty trained, please make sure they wear a swim diaper.

A small request:

When possible, please have your child wear a brightly colored swimsuit to help with visibility in the water. Try to avoid light blue, as it can blend in.

Cancellation Policy:
Due to circumstances from last summer, I will be implementing a cancellation policy this year. Lessons require a minimum of 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule; otherwise, the session and payment will be forfeited. Ideally, I will be aware of your absence the Sunday before the week, and the Friday before if you are a Monday swimmer. One exception a season may be made for extenuating circumstances such as medical emergencies, accidents, or other serious, unforeseen events.

No-shows will follow a no strike system. After the first occurrence, continued enrollment may be reconsidered.

Weather:
Of course, weather happens! If lessons need to be postponed due to storms or unsafe conditions, I will notify you as soon as possible and work with you to reschedule.

Sibling Care:

If you are bringing other children who are not participating in the lesson, please keep them under your supervision at all times to ensure safety.

At the parent’s request, child care can be provided for non-participating siblings at an additional cost of $5 per lesson. If you would like to request child care, please notify me at least 24 hours in advance so I can make appropriate arrangements.

Lesson Info:
Lessons will take place at 261 Co Rd 301, Oxford, MS 38655. Please arrive a few minutes early so we can make the most of our time in the water.

Payment:

Payment is due before or at the time of your first scheduled lesson. I prefer cash, Venmo, or check. If you’d like to pay for multiple lessons at once or need to arrange a payment plan, feel free to reach out—I’m happy to work with you.

Discontinuing Lessons:
If at any point during the season you decide to stop lessons, that’s totally okay—just let me know! I won’t be upset. I simply ask for at least one week’s notice so I can offer your spot to another family.
