The Dance Connection

Only 2 more weeks before our recital means our last senior is up for spotlight!

⭐️Brenna Heaghney⭐️

Brenna will be attending South Carolina Upstate to major in Marketing. Brenna will continue her dance career on their dance team. She started dancing at TDC at 11 years old and blended right in. Brenna’s favorite memory is the trip to Nationals last year with her teammates!

Brenna is an assistant for our younger dancers and will be sad to leave the studio. Her encouraging words for the younger dancers is “You don’t have to be the best in the room to belong there. Focus on showing up, giving your best effort, and believing that growth will come.”

Another week means another senior!

⭐️Piper Cronovich⭐️

Piper will be attending St. Louis Community College to study Ultrasound Technology. She started dancing at 4 years old and has grown up at TDC. Piper’s favorite memory is when Miss Amanda came back to teach her tap trio with Morgan and Brenna.

Piper is an assistant for our younger dancers and will continue to teach next year in her first year of college. If she had to give any encouraging words to you her dancers, it would be “Don’t be afraid to try new styles and get outside of your comfort zone”.

Happy Mother’s Day to all of our amazing moms of TDC! We are so thankful for you!

We only have 4 weeks left before our annual recital which means it’s time for our first Senior Spotlight!

⭐️Brooke Mizner⭐️

Brooke will be attending Missouri Baptist University to study Early Childhood Education. She started dancing at 3 years old and has grown up at TDC. Brooke’s favorite memory is winning Best in Show for her hip hop dance Bring ‘Em’ Out at competition in 2025.

Brooke is an assistant for our younger dancers and will continue to teach next year in her first year of college. If she had to give any encouraging words to you her dancers, it would be “Take all your corrections and work on the things your teachers ask you to so you can break habits early on. Have fun and make friends at dance!”

Day 1 was a big success! The girls were happy to be with friends doing what they love! Day 2 is kicking off at 8am!

We also won the Pure Passion Studio Award which exemplifies a studio that shows passion not only on stage when dancing, but off the stage as well. And our senior soloist, Brenna, won the award for the highest scoring solo of the weekend in the Intermediate division!

The girls love the stage and we love our TDC family!

Day 2 was another long day with groups and a few solos! We are headed to Day 3 bright and early with caffeine in hand!

Day 1 was nothing short of amazing! Our senior dancers all had their best performances and we also got to spend some quality time together! Day 2 begins at 8:00am!
