Injuries happen when we’re not breathing deeply. The container of the practice protects the body (and the mind!) on so many levels. I did not make this s**t up and I am old school in this way. Yoga has been the most unwavering habit in my life because I had teachers who honored the whole series and I have learned to protect myself and my students from injury by sticking to this tradition. I am part of a lineage thousands of years old. You can be too.
