The best part of what we do isn’t always found in the show ring.

Sometimes it’s found between lessons…watching great horses, learning from great trainers, or sitting beside freshly cut hay fields stretching across the farm 🌾

There’s no better birthday gift than getting your very first ride on a pony 🩷🐴 🎉

It’s Birthday Week for Derrick & Kaylee. Help us celebrate them by sharing some love! 🎂

If you’ve ever been told to “sit back,” “heels down,” “one more rail,” “get off your curb,” or “don’t make me get on that horse…” there’s a pretty good chance you’ve been loved by Derrick or Kaylee. 😂

Somehow, these two have become our trainers, coaches, leaders, mentors, cheerleaders, therapists, life advisors, confidence builders, problem solvers, and some of our very best friends. They celebrate our wins like they’re their own, pick us up after the hard days, push us when they know we’re capable of more, and somehow manage to make us laugh through all of it.

They’ve created a barn where hard work is expected, laughter is constant, friendships are real, and everyone, from the tiniest beginner to the most experienced rider, feels like they belong.

The truth is, getting to know you guys has been one of the greatest blessings our team could have asked for. Thank you for pouring your hearts into every rider, every horse, every family, and every single day. You make people believe they can do things they never thought possible, and you make The Settlement feel like so much more than a barn…it feels like home.

We may think we’re celebrating your birthdays this week, but the truth is… we’re the ones who received the gift.

Happy Birthday, Derrick and Kaylee! We hope you know just how incredibly loved, appreciated, and celebrated you are. Thank you for leading us, believing in us, laughing with us (and occasionally giving us “the look” when we should’ve known better 😂), and loving this team so well. 🖤❤️🖤
