Aeration starts tomorrow September 28th! We will begin with the front 9 greens, so the front 9 will be closed tomorrow. The back 9 will be closed on Tuesday September 29th for aeration!

It's CRUNCH time for the 19th ANNUAL BC CHILI OPEN!!

Now we NEED YOUR HELP!!

FIRST and FOREMOST . . . . WE NEED MORE CHILI!! PLEASE sign up to bring a pot of chili for our contest. If you do not make chili, ask your mom or best friend to make a pot that you can bring and ENTER into our contest!! Let us know by calling the golf course at 440-354-3469 so we can keep track of the chili coming in.

SECOND and also CRITICAL . . . . Those of you who are entered with a team, PLEASE come in or CALL with your payment. Total is $63.00/person or $252/team which includes: greens fees, cart, entry fee & 50/50 raffle.
($5 convenience fee if using a credit card)

All teams signed up MUST be paid by OCTOBER 3rd, 2026. If your team is not paid for by then, your team’s spot will be subject to become available for teams signed up as alternates.

It is with a heavy heart that we share this information.
Today we say goodbye to our Senior Club Champion, Jim “Red” Thomas. Jim passed away this afternoon. If you knew Red, you know that he was an extremely pleasant individual to be around. Always had a big smile and a bigger heart! He was happy being around all his friends on the golf course.
Goodbye friend, you will be missed! ❤️🏌️‍♂️😞❤️🙏

‼️‼️Giving a heads up to our golfers regarding AERATION‼️‼️

It’s that time of year again… with the season slowly winding down we are going to begin aerating.

On MONDAY September 28th we are planning to aerate the greens on holes 1 through 9 and those holes will be closed! The back 9 will be open for play.

On TUESDAY September 29th, we will be aerating the greens on holes 10 through 18, and closing the back 9. The front 9 will be open for play on this day.

We know aeration can be frustrating to play around so we’re providing the heads up about it happening. It is a crucial process to keep the course in great playing shape, and the first step to preparing for next season to ensure healthy turf all year long.

We appreciate your understanding!

Over the weekend of September 12th, we hosted our 2026 Ryder cup. Both teams fought hard all weekend through a grueling 54 holes. However, when the final 18 holes came into play, the BLACK team rallied together to take the win on Sunday! Congratulations to all those on the BLACK team led by Bob Lawson on their Victory over the WHITE team Captained by Bob Roberts! Thank you to everyone who played and participated in the tournament.

🚨‼️ACE ALERT‼️🚨

What?! 2 ACES in 1 day, on the same hole?? What are the odds??

On Wednesday, September 9th, 2026, Chuck Roach ACED hole #8 from the 130 yard silver tees! Chuck hit a beautiful shot with his Taylor made 8 iron and had his Bridgestone golf ball settle perfectly into the hole! Unbelievable shot Chuck! Congratulations!⛳️

WOW! Yesterday, September 9th, 2026, Tony Carlucci ACED the 90 yard 8th hole using a Taylor made pitching wedge! Tony holds 5 aces here at Painesville Country Club, and this is is second one on hole #8! His other aces are on holes 3, 5, and 14! Way to go Tony! Congratulations on an incredible shot! ⛳️
