Yesterday was moving day for the majority of coaches.
Coaches I thought this video would bring a tinge of laughter with Lucasse leading us home lol. I know your hearts are sad and goodbyes were inevitable. Today is the hardest day. We realize how much we are going to miss each other, the children, host families, etc..
You have worked hard! It’s time to rest and relax. Resting refuels our minds and our bodies and helps regain our mental, physical, and emotional energy to go back and get the job done.

This first pic was taken the first day of camps. Not realizing those gray shirts would impact my heart the most this week (this is just a few of the sea of gray shirts lol). The community of volunteers was just amazing from Scranton Road Bible Church in Cleveland. With borders being closed to other countries, we were short staffed with coaches. God provided because of this community that came together to serve. The last day there was a cookout with 6-7 different churches helping!!!
Pastor Joe how does this happen? How do you get your people to serve? PJoe is a pretty humble guy so I asked the admin and this is what she shared with me!

#1 You are not going to get what you want from the other churches you work with unless, that particular church/churches culture changes.
•
#2 the culture comes from the top down.
Pastor Joe and pastor mark don't ask any of us to do anything that they won't do themselves

#3 for our church ambassador soccer camp is a staff priority
•
The volunteers follow because of those 1st 3 points

I absolutely ❤️ old churches with stained glass windows. There beautiful colors reminds me when we are broken like glass, a new self can emerge and be strong. Jesus turns messes into miracles and tests into testimonies. Thank you for impacting my ❤️ this week!
