Grabbed our 2nd win of the weekend last night at Wayne County Speedway! 🏁

Had a really good battle early on with Vinnie DePizzo Racing. Was able to build a comfortable lead through the middle portion of the race but a late race caution bunched us all back up for a 2 lap shootout. Was able to survive alot of pressure from the 1 car on the final restart to grab our 7th win of the season!

Parked it back in Victory Lane last night at Raceway 7! 🏁🏆

Started P6 in the feature. Slowly worked our way to the front, taking the lead on lap 14. Scoring our 3rd win of the season at Raceway 7.

Plans are TBD but most likely headed to Wayne County Speedway tomorrow.

Feature winner last night at Raceway 7 🏁

Won our heat race. Started P1 in the feature, lead all 20 laps to grab our 5th win of the season.

Race Recap from Wayne County Speedway

Qualified 4th in the Modified, ran 2nd in the heat race but was able to steal the win on the last lap, putting us on the pole for the feature. Unfortunately we cut a tire down leading around lap 7 or so, tried hanging on for the next couple laps before it exploded. Pulled in and got it changed, came back to finish 5th. The 42 car just has a dark cloud over it right now.

Qualified 3rd in the street stock. Started outside pole in the heat and was able to get the heat win. Started pole in the feature, didn’t take off really good and rode around in 2nd for the first 5 or so before putting some pressure on the leader. After a few laps trading sliders, we were able to clear him for the lead out of turn 4, survived a few late race restarts to get our first ever street stock feature win! 🏁🏆

It was a blast racing the 69 FBR-Fat Boy Racing machine! Can’t thank Ryan J. Leathers and his guys enough for giving us the opportunity. Awesome group of guys, glad we could get them back to victory lane!

We’ll be back with the 42 modified this weekend at Raceway 7 and possibly Eriez Speedway on Sunday, hopefully our luck will turn around the last month or so of the season!

Update from Raceway 7 Friday night.

We pulled the 1 in pill draw, putting us on the pole for the heat. Won the heat race, securing our spot in the redraw. Pulled the 3 in redraw, lining us up P3 for the feature. Made our way to 2nd at the drop of the green and would battle for the lead over the next couple laps before the rearend broke.

Another tough break for our team, but hopefully we can rebound this Friday night at Raceway 7 with double features for the UMP Modifieds.

We’ll be making our street stock debut on Saturday August 9th, running the Ryan J. Leathers owned 69 at Wayne County Speedway!
