Congratulations to our state qualifiers!

Logan Beckmier: 1600m & 3200m
Lyle Adcock: 1600m

Lincoln Prairie Conference champions again! Third year in a row. Distance guys score points in bunches. Logan wins 1600/3200 and is 3rd in 400. Lyle wins 800 and is 2nd in 1600. Jacob goes 3rd in 3200. Cruz is 5th in 800. These 4 win 4x400 Relay breaking meet record! Beckmier and Adcocks have won four team Conference Championships in Cross Country and three in Track & Field. There was no meet their freshman year.

Logan Beckmier runs a 9:27.91/3200 @ Distance Night in Palatine. State 1A #5 and 2nd fastest in school history!

These guys had a great day yesterday at the ALAH Invitational. Lots of new PR's! Freshman Cruz Hale joins the sub 5/1600 club at 4:59.85. The distance crew has 4 guys sub 5 in the same season for 1st time in school history! Freshman Cash Hale gets a new PR in the 400!
Lyle Adcock double PR's in 800/1600@2:06.07/4:41.5. Logan Beckmier runs a 3200/400 PR double of 9:28.72 & 53.52. Jacob Adcock places in the 3200 and runs a huge PR 400 leg in the 4x400 Relay along with Logan, Lyle and Cruz. Those 3 contribute fast PR legs also.

Excellent day at Gene Armer Invitational yesterday on the U of I campus. Logan drops a 14 second 3200 PR running 2nd to the class 2A cross country champion. Lyle runs an indoor PR in 1600 to finish 6th. Jacob runs a PR in the 800. 4x800 team of Lyle, Jacob, Cruz & Logan run a season best to finish 5th. Lots of schools from all over Illinois. Many schools much bigger than little ALAH!

These two and their distance running mates had an excellent outing yesterday at EIU Indoor Invite. Logan Beckmier runs a 9:49.52(1st)/4:32.46(3rd) - 3200/1600 double and Lyle Adcock goes 4:45.13(5th)/2:09.12(7th) - 1600/800 double. Plus they teamed with Freshmen Cruz and Cash Hale in the 4x400 Relay. Fifty-six schools represented. Around 20 were 2A-3A.
