Rd 5 Lone Star Dirt Oval Series is in the books....

Thank you for coming out and supporting Thunderbird, we had a few hiccups with the wifi and got things fixed sorry guys. Thank you Ted for letting us bouce off the star link.

Want to say thank you to Paul and Wayne for calling a couple races so i can race too.
Thank you everyone that helped do tech and in the concession stand. It really takes several hands to keep everything going.

We hope everyone had a safe trip home.

Please NO DANCING on the tables. you will need to bring your own chairs and 10ft extension cord

PIT RESERVATIONS:
All BLUE spots are bring your own canopy. All GREEN spots are covered spots we provide. Trailer spots are first come first serve so come early and MUST bring generators. Spots 1-24 of the new table need extension cords because electric hasn’t been moved over yet.

Its almost here and we're almost ready on some final touches that we will get done with tonight....

Schedule for this weekend.
Practice from 5-9ish Friday.
Saturday's practice session will be a semi controlled practice with likewise cars and carbon cars. I will have the timer set for about 2 min sessions to help let everyone get a chance to get some practice in. While i do sign ups i will be watching and watering the track about every 15- 20 mins. probably be on the tad loose dirt during practice until it gets rolled in.
Green flag will drop about the 2pm mark depending on how much it needs water before drivers meeting.

Remember all trailers must be on there own generator power! also if you have a board or something you can put you generator on, that might be wise due to how dry it is and from exhaust heat, try to minimize the possibility of a fire.

I haven't completely got the new chart ready for reserved pitting done yet on the new spaces, BUT you will need an extension cord and chairs for the new canopy spots cause i havent gotten the power transferred over yet and please use pit mats, thank you.

Concession stand will be open and have everything ready about 1pm. Pulled pork sandwiches, Hamburgers, hot dogs, nachos and frito pies. I will have plenty of bottled water for free if anyonegets to hot or needs it.

Clean them up, nut and bolt them race cars and loadem and strap them down, we will see you all soon track side!

After the shade came over the track there was battles to be had.

Dirt work and preparations has already begun for this weeks LsDos. There will be another post about parking and pit map , tonight or buy Monday night.
