We are now less than 48hrs until the 8th Annual Joel’s Auto Sales WFO for Wilcox by Advantage Tire Wash and Thunderbird RC Speedway

June 19th Club Race and WFO for Novice !
Novice will be FREE entry Fee.
Gates open at 2pm
Practice and signups 2:30-3:30
Racing at 4pm

The Novice driver is not eligible to run any other class at WFO.

Camping Available reserved pit spots sign up coming this week!

Saturday June 20th 8th Annual WFO.
Gates open 6:00am
Registration 7:00am-10:30am

Registration Fee $40 for first class $30 each additional class.

Concessions Stand on Site

Practice max 8 cars on the track. 2-4 minute sessions depending on car count .

Practice will be by similar types of cars :
8:00am -8:30am
MUDBoss, Traxxas Modified

8:30am-9:00
Wingless Sprint, Midget

9:00-9:10 track prep

9:10-9:40
Midwest Modified, Latemodel

9:40-10:10
Street Stock Slash Super Stock

10:10-10:20
Track Prep

10:20-10:50
Outlaw Sprint and 10.5 Sprint

10:50-11:00
SC Modified

11:00 -11:30 Track Rebuild

11:30 -11:45 Drivers meeting

11:45 -12:05. All Cars to track for group picture and Best Appearing Car Award by PRP RC Racing Preps and Wrap Designs !

12:05-12:10 Track prep if needed!

12:20 First Qualifier
Track Prep as Track Staff sees needed .

Resort after Round 1

Track Rebuild after Round ONE and Round TWO unless weather conditions affect the track and time line.

Raffle during Track Rebuild after Round TWO !

Top Six to A-main with 2 Bump ups each main

Plaques by The Graphic Shop for TQ and 1st-5th in all classes.

Novice awards still to be determined.

2 Wire and MRT Transponders
No 3 Wire Sorry !

Drivers Will race the. Place car and radio in impound Then go Marshall.
First and second place to the infield chairs
3rd -6th grab a corner
7th and 8th middle of front and back straights !

If you do not Marshall, your best round will not count in Qualifiers.

If you are not there after your mains
You will be eliminated from any WFO future events without paying $100.00 donation before the end of the calendar year !!

Street Stock’s
Top 5 in the WFO A-Main will have a chance to win part of a $300.00 purse !

All classes run under the Lone Star Series Rules.

Outlaw Sprint, Latemodel and SC Modified will not be teched unless
An official sees something out of wack! Y’all know the rules !

2S batteries only. No Voltage Check .

No fighting allowed.

I will be in front of drivers stand and do not want to hear any bickering on the drivers stand

I and other race officials will call rough driving. First offense Stop and go penalty.
Second offense you’ll be asked to pull your car and stopped scoring.

This event is here to have fun in remembrance of Bradley “BJ” Wilcox who loved to see others enjoy the hobby he loved !
He loved nothing more than seeing fast cars and good close racing by great racers and his friends!

We are a GO for racing, there are still some weather reports showing there is still some chances of rain early morning of Saturday, but after that passes there will be a full chance of racing!

WFO 2026 is almost here....

As you've probably been watching, the weather is not looking its best, as Steve has mentioned we'd evening Thursday morning we will make a post the call go no go....

Remember TRANSPONDERS, MRT's or mylpas 2 wires or the old AmbRc transponders work here, no 3 wire.

There is still plenty of pitting spaces still available. Plenty of power. And plenty of room if you want to camp out.

What to expect, there will be lots of racing on hand and a very tight schedule....
Track conditions will be all across the board iam sure, I will try to keep as much moisture in the track as possible. As soon as the track drys enough, and cars can be put on the track that's when the timer and schedule will start and run through the evening. So please have your cars ready.

Keep an eye on Steve Crane post or here for updates wed or first thing Thursday morning.

Might be sooner depending on car count and interest.

There will be no practice afterwards due to track prep for Saturday
Entry fee will be 25 for the first class, 15 for each additional class. Novice-free.

Pit spots reservations...

1-38 Covered canopies, tables are provided. You will need a small extension cord.
C1-38 are for 10x10 canopies and tables and all pit accessories you need to bring. Small to med extension cord will be needed.
R1-8 are behind drivers stand and will need a med to long extension cord and also 10x10 canopies and all pitting accessories.

ALL Trailers will half to provid your own power.
Camping and staying Friday through Sunday is ok
