The Spade anchor is a patented anchor developed in the mid 1990's and has been used around the world Effecient even with low rode-length to depth ratio.
The Spade anchor is easy to use without any specific technique. It is self launching and self retrieving and fits on most bow rollers. Easy to dismantle for storage or transport. Has a ballasted tip so that 50% of the total weight of the anchor is in the tip. Always lands upright in "attack" position. Digs in instantly. No rode snagging.
