🚨🚨Important Volunteer Background Check Update🚨🚨

Dear PBWLL Families,

We would like to update all of our families on a new volunteer requirement that has been implemented in accordance with City requirements and Florida law.

Effective immediately, all PBWLL volunteers are required to complete a Level 2 background check before participating in any on-field activities. This requirement applies to all:

* Managers
* Assistant Coaches
* Team Moms

PBWLL will cover the full cost of the Level 2 background check. We greatly value our volunteers and do not believe you should have to pay to donate your time to our league.

Once registration has closed, we will schedule a date at the fields for volunteers to complete their fingerprinting and background checks. If you are unable to attend on the scheduled date, you will be responsible for visiting the designated office to complete your background check before you are permitted on the field with players.

Unfortunately, anyone who does not complete the required Level 2 background check will not be eligible to serve as a manager, assistant coach, or team mom.

While this is a new process for everyone, it has been put in place to help ensure the safety and well-being of our players and our community. We appreciate your patience, understanding, and continued support as we work through these new requirements together.
