Members and staff, past and present, are mourning the profound loss of our longtime General Manager/COO, Matt Lambert, a beloved leader and friend whose influence shaped Mirasol for 23 years.
Although no brief tribute can fully capture what Matt meant to Mirasol or the legacy he leaves behind, we invite you to read more about his life, leadership, and enduring impact on the community he cared for so deeply.

We’re pleased to share another video update on the restoration of the 18th holes on our Sunrise and Sunset golf courses!
Director of Golf Course Maintenance Ben Hyduk takes us through the latest progress, including sprigging the greens and putting surfaces, lining bunkers, installing drainage, and more.
Be sure to watch until the end for a look at the installation of our dramatic new water feature! Once complete, it will serve as a stunning focal point visible from both courses, the Grand Clubhouse, and Overlook Bar & Grill, our new casual dining destination opening this fall.

It took a sharp eye to spot this well-camouflaged visitor, and we thank member Amy Wexler for her latest contribution!
This Cuban treefrog was photographed tucked against the trunk of a palm, where its mottled coloring provided an impressive disguise. Cuban treefrogs can vary greatly in appearance, ranging from cream and green to brown and gray, and their exceptionally large toe pads help them cling to trees and other surfaces. Although fascinating to see, Cuban treefrogs are an invasive species in Florida and are known to compete with — and even prey upon — some of our native frogs.

Members of the Mirasol team, alongside several volunteers from our member-run Mirasol Foundation, recently filled nearly 500 backpacks at the Education Foundation of Palm Beach County Red Apple Supplies facility, helping local students start the school year prepared for success!
The effort was part of the Education Foundation’s Backpack Build initiative, which is bringing volunteers from across the community together to fill 36,000 backpacks with essential school supplies for Palm Beach County students. Dozens of Mirasol Foundation volunteers kicked off our community’s involvement earlier in the month, and our staff was proud to continue their work.
We were happy to lend a few more hands to an effort that shows just how much can be accomplished when a community comes together!
Summer salads took center stage at our latest cooking demonstration!
Hosted by Chef Michael, Chef Sarah and Chef Ray-Ray shared two fresh, seasonal creations with our members. Chef Sarah prepared her Watermelon Ponzu Salad with cucumber, mint, peanuts and sesame ponzu, while Chef Ray-Ray served up a colorful Corn & Stone Fruit Salad featuring peaches, plums, dapple plumcots and frisée, finished with a white balsamic vinaigrette. Members left with recipe cards in hand—and, even better, the chance to taste both delicious dishes!
Our Summer Cooking Demonstration series continues this Thursday, when Chef Michael and Chef Egypt will fire up the grill and share tips and techniques to help our members make the most of their next home cookouts, and we can't wait to see what they have in store!
Our courts were at full capacity in July as we proudly hosted the USTA Florida Boys' National Clay Court Championships! It was a privilege to welcome many of the nation's top junior players and showcase our world-class facilities, and in this video, members Lenny Moskowitz and Rich Pregel share what they liked about seeing this level of play at Mirasol.
Members, the excitement isn't over! We look forward to hosting two more USTA tournaments this month, giving our members another opportunity to enjoy exceptional tennis right here at Mirasol. Visit the latest issue of The Pulse for details!

Member Joe Fiscella spotted a bird we've never featured on before - a black-necked stilt - and we thank him for this exciting photo!
The black-necked stilt is easy to recognize by its crisp black and white feathers, needle-thin bill and remarkably long pink legs. In fact, its legs are among the longest of any bird in proportion to its body, allowing it to wade into deeper water than many other small shorebirds! Its menu includes insects, shrimp, crayfish, snails, tadpoles and tiny fish.

Giving back through the game we love! Our Mirasol Racquet Sports professional teaching staff proudly volunteered at the Kids Fitness Festival, presented by Baptist Health. Approximately 1,500 children participated in this inspiring event, where sports, fitness, and fun came together to promote active lifestyles.
Through an interactive tennis clinic, our team had the opportunity to introduce young athletes to the game while encouraging confidence, teamwork, and a lifelong love of physical activity. We are proud to support the youth of South Florida and help make a positive impact—one swing at a time.
