…Yesterday was one of those days that reminds me what FFMD is really all about…
I had the pleasure of spending the day on the Ocean City, Maryland boardwalk with Kourtney, one of FFMD’s longest-time fans and supporters. We hit the arcade, played some games, won a few tickets, enjoyed a great lunch together, and just had an all-around amazing day.
Kourtney and I are both living with different forms of muscular dystrophy. Our challenges may be different, but we share something much bigger — a determination to keep living, keep enjoying life, and keep moving forward.
Days like yesterday are why this mission is so personal to me. FFMD isn’t just about raising money or awareness. It’s about the people, the friendships, the families and the incredible MD community that continues to inspire us every day.
To Kourtney — thank you for spending the day with me. I had an absolute blast.
And to all of our FFMD friends, families and supporters — especially everyone out there fighting their own battle with muscular dystrophy:
Keep on keeping on. Keep living. Keep fighting. And never give up. 💪❤️

🚨 $5,000 REWARD 🚨
Fishing For Muscular Dystrophy (FFMD) is offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to the identification, arrest, and conviction of the individuals responsible for breaking into the FFMD 72 Viking at Sailfish Marina in Palm Beach Shores on Singer Island.
The thieves stole four Ho**er Electric Tiagra 30 kite reels along with four custom FFMD kite rods.
The rods were custom-built with the FFMD logo prominently displayed, making them very recognizable.
After leaving the marina, the thieves went to Peanut Island, removed the valuable Ho**er Electric Tiagra 30 reels from the rods, and threw the FFMD rods into the water in an apparent attempt to destroy evidence.
Thankfully, a local bait fisherman recovered the rods, but the four Ho**er Electric Tiagra 30 reels remain missing.
If you were at Sailfish Marina or Peanut Island, or if you have seen or heard anything about these reels or the individuals responsible, no matter how small the detail may seem, please contact us.

Another incredible week at Walker’s Cay for Team FFMD. We’re grateful for the opportunity to compete alongside some of the best fishing teams in the world while spending time with great friends both on and off the water.
This trip was especially meaningful being able to share the experience with my wife and daughter at such an iconic and legendary place in the Bahamas. is truly one of those special destinations that brings together world-class sportfishing, unforgettable memories, and incredible people.
Getting a trip to the podium is always the goal, and we’re proud to have had success this week against such an elite field. Congratulations to all of the winners and teams that battled it out all tournament long.
A huge thank you to Carl and Gigi Allen for hosting such a first-class event and creating an atmosphere that showcases the very best of competition, camaraderie, and sportfishing.
Already looking forward to getting back to Walker’s Cay next year. 🎣🏆🌊

10 years ago today we flash back… the original FFMD 435CC was out chasing pelagic fish, making memories, and helping build what Fishing for Muscular Dystrophy has become today.
What started with a passion for fishing and giving back has grown into an incredible community of supporters, anglers, families, sponsors, and friends all working together to make a difference in the fight against muscular dystrophy.
Looking back at this photo reminds us that it was never just about the boats, tournaments, or fishing trips — it has always been about the people, the purpose, and the impact we can make together.
From those early days on the Everglades 435 to where FFMD is today, we are beyond grateful for everyone who has supported the mission along the way. And while we’re proud of how far things have come, we’re even more excited about where things are headed next.
We’ve got some big plans on the horizon for something new, meaningful, and impactful for individuals and families living with muscular dystrophy — and we can’t wait to share more soon.
Here’s to the memories, the miles offshore, the friendships built, and the future ahead. 🎣💙

No matter where people travel, we’re proud to have folks represent FFMD and continue spreading awareness for families battling muscular dystrophy around the world. Standing among thousands of years of history at the Acropolis is a reminder that lasting impact is built over time — and together, our FFMD community continues to make a difference every day.

Today the FFMD team was proud to participate in the 32nd Annual Ed Morse MDA Golf Classic Tournament at PGA National in North Palm Beach.
It was an incredible day supporting the Muscular Dystrophy Association and helping raise more than $400,000 for families battling muscular dystrophy and related neuromuscular diseases.
One of the highlights of the day was successfully auctioning off a Palm Beach sailfishing trip on the new FFMD 72C specifically designed for those with muscular dystrophy and other mobility challenges — generously won by a donor who is planning to take Parker on the trip as he continues his fight with muscular dystrophy. Moments like these are exactly what FFMD is all about: creating experiences, memories, and support for incredible kids and families.
A huge thank you to everyone who sponsored, donated, volunteered, and participated in today’s event. We are honored to be part of such an amazing community making a real difference.
