When I started working with Michelle, it had been over 11 years since I’d practiced Bikram yoga. I felt disconnected from my body and out of rhythm with my routines, and I wasn’t quite sure how to begin again. Michelle met me exactly where I was—without pressure or judgment—and helped me rebuild consistency in a way that felt realistic and sustainable, not just in movement, but in my life as a whole.
Over the course of seven months, I lost 20 pounds, became stronger, and learned how to move my body with more awareness and kindness. Through whole-food, plant-based nutrition, heart-rate–guided exercise, and a renewed focus on balance, I felt supported on every level—physically, emotionally, and spiritually. What stood out to me was how intentional Michelle was beyond our sessions, guiding me toward resources and support that truly aligned with what I needed at the time. I never felt like just a client; I felt genuinely cared for.
Most importantly, I now feel grounded and confident in how I take care of myself. As I move into 2026, I feel hopeful, steady, and open to what’s ahead.

Adopting a rescued turkey each year has become one of my favorite Thanksgiving traditions. It is a small, practical way for me to pair gratitude with compassion. Smudge gets safety, good food, and gentle care. I get a yearly reminder that how we eat and live has real impact.
