When we hear it’s crazy to compensate players to move to our club in the UK.. 🤔

We think it’s crazy to depend on pay-for-play clubs for a pathway to pro.. If you’re paying, it’s not serious. Especially in the US… The numbers tell the story..

Bromley FC Women are delighted to welcome exciting attacking player Jacey Lane to the squad ahead of the 2026/27 season.

Able to operate on the wing or as a striker, Jacey joins the Ravens following a season with Ascot United, where she gained valuable experience playing at Tier 4 of the women’s football pyramid.

Originally from the United States, she has already made an impressive start in Bromley colours during pre-season, finding the net and scoring a hat-trick against Saltdean United in her first outing for the club.

Speaking about joining Bromley, Jacey said:

“I’m really excited to be joining Bromley and to be a part of the club. The environment and ambitions of the team really stood out to me and I can’t wait to get involved and get started!”

Bromley FC Women manager Dean Davenport said:

“Jacey comes to Bromley with experience playing in Tier 4 last season. She’s an exciting player with plenty of pace, trickery and an eye for goal, already opening her account in the pre-season friendlies, most notably with a hat-trick against Saltdean in her first outing with Bromley Women.”

Jacey joins the squad as preparations continue for Bromley’s first season in the Premier Division of the London & South East Regional Women’s Football League following promotion last campaign.

Academy football must be about real opportunity!! Our aim is to continue building a REAL academy program that rights the wrongs of the United States youth development system.
