Meet the Board President bringing healing and wellness to the Coachella Valley!

Alex leads an organization with a clear mission — to make the teachings of Iyengar Yoga Center Coachella Valley - IYCCV available for the physical, mental and spiritual health of the region, at all fitness levels. Yoga changed his life, and he believes it can be transformational. IYCCV offers free yoga to residents of Riverside County’s Fourth District, with classes for kids, older adults, women’s health and people in recovery, several of them bilingual and available online.

In his words: “I want to make yoga accessible to anyone — especially those who feel it’s not for them.”

Over the coming weeks, Alex will sharpen his storytelling, fundraising and leadership skills alongside eleven other nonprofit leaders as they prepare for the NPO Desert Fast Pitch Grand Finale on October 1, 2026. Please join us in congratulating him!
