Our weekend came to an end in a marathon matchup against Top Gun National that went 7 innings, 45 minutes past time expiration, and featured 3 innings of Texas Tie-Breaker softball. After trading punches all game long, we came up just short in a 10-9 battle. Most importantly, this weekend was about more than wins and losses. It was another opportunity to compete at a high level and continue showcasing our athletes in front of college coaches and recruiters.
Proud of the fight. Proud of the growth. Proud of this team.
The record ends at 6-1, but the statement made this weekend goes far beyond the scoreboard.

#21 Aliyah Schaffer! This kid is the youngest of the squad, but packs POWER and consistency at the plate and demands control from the circle. She was named MVP of her VARSITY HS softball team as an 8th grader. She’s ready to bring that punch to the summer before her true Freshman Debut!
