2 young stallions, 2 mares, 3 dogs and 2 dedicated barrel racers go to Wyoming for a week long barrel race. Everyone’s doing great and we can’t wait to get started!

Firecat is making a comeback! 8th place last night just out of the money. It’s been a tough year at rodeos. The girls are focused and it’s a tight race at each event.

This is the smallest pen so far all year and FireCat always loves it!!

Proud moments!! Hotdog and Claire Callahan accomplished the next goal! RUN FASTER! 🫡

Seasoning a 7 year old to rodeos is a feat in itself and Claire is full steam ahead. I told her. This run I want you to focus on the RUN. Her patterns have been super pretty at the track pen rodeos but need more fire. Well they both showed up and accomplished that 🙌🏼

The horse is finding her barrels and handling some VERY different ground types. From sand, to wet clay, some mud, and being rained on.

The kid is riding aggressively but yet quiet, still handling her nerves better than I had anticipated.

Being within a second of the winner in a TOUGH set of girls was another goal and they also accomplished that too 💪🏼

Good job girls!
