Join us for our November Session of TuTu Two's which begins this Saturday, October 29!

Our TuTu Two’s class is an introductory movement class for toddlers 12 months to 3 years old. Toddlers accompanied by their caregiver explore dance concepts with the help of our instructor's guided prompts, music, and props. Students expand their innate creativity and imagination while exploring movement!

This class is offered in 4 week sessions.
November Session dates: 10/29, 11/5, 11/12, 11/19
Class is offered Saturday morning from 9:30-10:15 AM.

Annual registration fee good for any session through July 2023 is $25, session fee $65.

In 1991 at the age of 6 Carlos Neto trained martial arts intensively throughout Europe. During the 90s and early 2000s he achieved recognition at both national and international competitions. In 1998 he joined the cast of a primetime TV series in Portugal, his home country, and had several appearances in the film industry. He moved to the UK in 2004 where he trained as a dancer and also earned his BA and Masters Degree in International Journalism at Cardiff University. In order to further his training, Carlos also studied acting at Stella Adler Studio of Acting in NYC.
Since 2004, Carlos has danced for the Dutch show BLAZE directed by Anthony Van Laast; played the role of ‘Sudsy’ in West End's hit show Some Like It Hip Hop; portrayed John Travolta’s character in the Nintendo video game Grease, and danced for PS3 Sony Dance Star Party. He was featured in the Bloomingdales 2015 commercial in the USA, choreographed and directed for Warner Brothers, SyCo Music, Sony BMG, Atlantic
Records, Britain's Got Talent, Matchbox Twenty, Melanie Martinez, Sergey Lazarev, Brooklyn Nets, Philadelphia 76ers, Zenith Watches, NJ Lottery, Kansas Whisky, the Broadway production of Circolombia, The Fringe NYC and many more. He was the creative director of the largest dance competition in the world World Of Dance in the U.K.
In 2014 NYIT Awards presented him with the honor of "Outstanding Choreography/Movement" for his off-Broadway work which includes choreography for the comedy play Gymnos: A geek’s Tragedy as well as the dance show Alone-Ology
He is a faculty member at Broadway Dance Center, and has previously taught at other prestigious dance schools in NYC such as Alvin Ailey and Peridance as well as Pineapple Dance Studios in London. Carlos is one of the selected expert contributors to Backstage.com.
Currently, Carlos is working between USA and Europe both as a choreographer and actor.

Ian Klein is a New York City based dancer, choreographer and educator. His training includes everything from Classical Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Hip-Hop, Break dancing, various styles of Ballroom, and various Modern techniques. He is honored to teach classes at the world renowned Broadway Dance Center in New York City, throughout the country and internationally on traveling workshops and intensives in numerous styles of dance demonstrating his passion for the art of movement.
Ian believes that the numerous styles of dance should be used like paints on a palette and dips into each of them while creating to ensure that the outcome is covered in hints of classical technique to street edginess with brush strokes of what ever style the choreography calls for.

Ian can be seen in Movies, Hit Television Series and National Print Ads. He has also had the privilege to perform live with artists such as Wynton Marsalis, The Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra, Dita Von Teese, Rita Ora, Chris Brown, Conor Maynard, Sean Kingston, Ne-Yo and The Band Perry just to name a few. Ian graduated from Marymount Manhattan College where he majored in dance and received his B.F.A.”

Our TuTu Two's class is a movement class for toddlers 12 to 36 months accompanied by a caregiver. With guided prompts from instructors, toddlers explore dance concepts with the use of music and props.
Additional Details:
Class time: Class meets Saturdays from 9:30-10:15 AM.
Attire: Toddlers and caregivers can wear anything comfortable that they can move in freely and please bring along or wear socks.
Studio lobby/entrance: The studio lobby is closed, doors will open at 9:25 AM. Please enter through our main entrance at the rear of our building.

Of all the things our dancers are taught each year, I want them to know, remember, and take with them the rest of their life... the awareness of their power. We see this power in our dancers and work so hard to get them to see it within themselves.
This past week and weekend were extraordinary! Yes, we made it through a season of dance in mask and performed live, on stage in a stunning venue full of love and support! That in and of itself was more than I thought our hearts could handle. We were bursting with excitement last week in anticipation of our shows. BUT something else happened, even bigger and better than above. Our dancers, these young women captured in these photos, showed us they KNOW their power, and it was one of the most magnificent things to witness. It brought tears to the teachers as we reminisced speaking about our individual experiences witnessing this. These girls looked out for each other, they helped each other, went out of their way to find a misplaced tap shoe, laced up each other's boots, and asked a dancer 6 years younger how their quick changes went. Invited the younger dancers to pre-show photos, made sure they were all accounted for in lineups, applauded each other when they got off stage, held hands and shared what they are most grateful for, prayed, wished each other well, and the list went on and on. Not only were they fierce dancers that gave their all in their performances, they stepped into their own. Owning their power, they danced with precision and in unison in kickline unlike anything we have ever seen before. In knowing the power they possess the mission of the performance, of the show as a whole, became more important than their own singular performance. With the level of support and caring the dancers were giving each other it's as though they were working side by side with teachers, assistants, and volunteers backstage! The feeling of joy we experienced this past week because of your children could never be put into words. Grateful, blessed, and thank you, skim the surface at our level of joy and appreciation. It was an absolute honor to share our passion this season with our students. We are so thankful you got to witness the beauty of a live performance and the talents your children share with us each and every week in class.

The Colors of Dance 2021 is finally here! We cannot believe we made it and are actually having a real live show with dancers performing in front of an audience of their biggest fans. Our hearts are bursting with excitement and gratitude. It’s been the best year yet!!

Our 8th year, Season 2019-2020 has come to an end! The year began with so much anticipation moving into our beautiful new studio. There was so much excitement and pride that it translated into our dancers and the year felt by far like our best year yet!! Come January, the Corona Virus was a thing, but we were focused on show material and plugging away at new choreography, planning sets, quick changes, music edits and finalizing a year of details to put out our 2020 Show Packet. March hit and things changed so quickly no one knew which direction to go or even where to focus our attention. We wondered what would happen, and some natural fear of the unknown crept in. It felt unfortunate and heavy for everyone thinking about the amount of disappointment. Focus shifted and attention went to what we could do safely. We knew so many students needed dance now more than ever. YouTube links were sent, Zoom classes began and we went on dancing, the best way we knew how, we all just went with it. When I think back on what the plan WAS and what it turned out to be, all the change and disappointment along the way, it makes what was created the last two days far more significant and far more special then anything we’ve done before. Parents, thank you for trusting us during such an uncertain time. Thank you for knowing these kids deserve to be celebrated, and trusting us they were ready, and so very eager to dance together again. Students, you amaze us. You have experienced so much change and uncertainty in such a short period of time, but you didn’t give up! You showed up, you logged in, dealt with time delays, sometimes got knocked out of your Zoom class, but kept going and kept practicing. You deserve to be celebrated in the biggest way possible for doing hard things again and again! We are so proud you have these moments. Moments like this are defining and will remain with you forever! We could not be more proud of you! Thank you teachers for being the BEST there is. Thank you for changing, shifting and putting summer plans on hold. We all see your dedication and commitment to the students and it is inspiring. The love you give, the example you set, and the passion you share with your students is expressed in their confidence, their determination and their dancing. We love you, THANK YOU!!
