Below is the official scorecard for TLAT. Welcome back and enjoy!
TLAT . . . where golf is more than just another four letter word.
Nestled between Cancer Creek and Gold Finch Drive just outside of Campbelltown PA, this 842 yard Par 2 layout will challenge even the most skilled golfers, while still be enjoyable for those who suck. The layout, designed and built by the world infamous course design firm Reidmachinlisner is set up to insure that a cooler is always only a hole away.
Operating as usual
Below is the official scorecard for TLAT. Welcome back and enjoy!
TLAT is BACK! For the first time since September 2016, the TLAT will be open for play starting Wednesday, June 21! The course layout is the same as before with 7 Par-2 holes and 2 Par-3 holes and is Par 20 for 9 holes.
We will not be hosting any leagues this year, but may have a few tournament events over the summer/fall.
The course will be maintained as best as we can each week. Maintaining the course comes with various expenses (gas, equipment upkeep, flags, paint, etc) that add up over the course of the summer. Donations to the course are appreciated and will help keep the course maintained.
There will be a donation box placed at the tree by #1 green or donations can be sent via paypal to

The South Londonderry Township Zoning Hearing Board will be meeting on 4/29 at 7:00PM to consider a zoning variance allowing Verizon Wireless to erect a cell phone tower measuring a total of 125ft high on a platform measuring 11' x 19'. The location is identified as 777 Lingle Avenue (across the creek and behind the 8th tee box). As per the existing policy, a minimum of 500 ft from the nearest property is the required . . . however, the requested variance is for 277 ft . . . almost half the distance. The Links of Thistledown strongly opposes such a tower (regardless of the variance request) and encourages all members to please consider attended the 4/29 meeting. Please forward this along to anyone else you feel would like to know about this meeting and/or would like to attend. Thank you.
The Links at Thistledown lost a very dear friend this week. Ken Cook, a long time member of The Links passed away this past Monday after a long and courageous fight with cancer. Ken was a tremendous individual and will be forever missed by all who were lucky enough to know him. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Chris, Jen, and Meg . . . rest in peace, buddy.
Stay tuned for a major announcement from TLAT . . .
The Links at Thistledown is asking its members to please keep Ken Cook and his family in their prayers. Ken (one of the charter members of TLAT) was recently diagnosed with stage four renal cell carcinoma and has begun his radiation treatment. Hang in there, Ken . . .
The following items were left behind after Sunday's post-tournament festivities. If they are yours, please make arrangements to pick them up.
* A green lawn chair
* A blue lawn chair
* A green cooler with four Rolling Rocks and about a quarter of a bottle of Tortilla Tequila (no promises that the Rolling Rocks will still be there, but the tequila is all yours)
Great day at the 1st Annual TLAT Alumni Labor Day Golf Tournament/Drinkfest. Thanks to everyone who came out . . . a good time was had by all.
Since TLAT was closed for the summer, wanted to see if any former TLAT members would be interested in getting together for some golf at Tree Top over Labor Day weekend. Tree Top has said that if we get enough players, we would get a discounted rate. We are looking at the Sunday morning of Labor Day weekend. If anyone is interested, please respond by Friday of this week.
The Links have had a number of inquiries about league play this year. Unfortunately, there will not be weekly league nights this year as the level of course maintenance and organization needed to run the weekly league has surpassed resources. There may be opportunities to have a few events throughout the summer, however, so please stay tuned. TLAT wishes to thank everyone who has supported and enjoyed the course over the years. It's been a great ride!

One blue cooler with the name Rossi written on it
One multi-colored clear water bottle
One red small serving tray with the word "Cheers" on it
One plastic clear serving tray
One trophy for the 2015 TLAT TOC Team Event
Thanks!
Well, TLAT guesses the post-round festivities were not a complete hit with everyone. While TLAT strives to be a good neighbor, TLAT recognizes that TLAT may have over-stepped some boundaries on Saturday. So for the person who shall remain nameless who posted (and then took down) her commentary regarding TLAT's "disregard for the rest of the neighborhood," TLAT issues a very heartfelt and sincere apology. It certainly was not TLAT's intent to offend, irritate, or anger anyone. Thanks again for your patience and understanding. -- Your friends (and neighbors) at TLAT.
Well that was fun! Thanks to everyone who came out yesterday for the Tournament of Champions and the post-round festivities. A great time was had by all. Thanks everyone . . . see you next year.
The course is in great shape . . . the beer is cold . . . the band has completed its sound check. Sounds like all is well with the world. T.O.C starts in about an hour. Are you ready??
