Tonightâs dinner = a big pot of healthier chili â¤ď¸âđĽ
Grass-fed organic beef or bison.
Organic chicken broth.
Black beans + chickpeas for fiber and staying power.
Bell peppers, tomatoes, jalapeĂąo, onion, garlic, green onion, cilantro.
Seasoned with chili powder, cumin, cayenne or red pepper flakes, Celtic sea saltâŚ
Balanced with a splash of Braggâs apple c***r vinegar and a touch of monk fruit to round it out.
Protein-rich.
Fiber-forward.
No added junk.
This is my kind of comfort food â nourishing, satisfying, and supportive of real energy (not food coma energy đ
).
Simple reminder: healthy doesnât have to be boring â it just has to be intentional.
RECIPE:
Pamâs Gym & Tonic Healthier Chili
Protein-rich ⢠Fiber-forward ⢠Blood sugarâfriendly
Ingredients
⢠1 lb grass-fed organic ground beef
⢠1â2 cups organic chicken broth (depending on how thick you like it)
⢠1 can organic black beans, drained and rinsed
⢠1 can organic chickpeas, drained and rinsed
⢠1â2 bell peppers, diced (any color)
⢠1 jalapeùo pepper, finely diced (remove seeds for less heat)
⢠1 medium onion, diced
⢠3â4 cloves garlic, minced
⢠2â3 green onions, sliced (for finishing)
⢠1-2 organic tomatoes diced
⢠Fresh cilantro, chopped (to taste)
Seasoning & Flavor Boosters
⢠2â3 tbsp chili powder
⢠1â2 tsp ground cumin
⢠½â1 tsp cayenne pepper (adjust to heat tolerance)
⢠Celtic sea salt, to taste
⢠1â2 tbsp Braggâs apple c***r vinegar
⢠1â2 tsp organic monk fruit sweetener (just enough to balance acidity)
Instructions
1. Brown the beef
In a large pot or Dutch oven, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Season lightly with sea salt as it cooks.
2. Build the base
Add diced onion, bell peppers, tomatoes, and jalapeĂąo to the pot. Cook until softened, about 5â7 minutes. Stir in garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
3. Season deeply
Add chili powder, cumin, cayenne, and a pinch more sea salt. Stir well to toast the spices slightly.
4. Add beans & broth
Stir in black beans, chickpeas, and chicken broth. Bring to a gentle simmer.
5. Balance the flavors
Add apple c***r vinegar and monk fruit sweetener. This step gives the chili depth without spiking blood sugar.
6. Simmer
Cover and simmer on low for 20â30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
7. Finish fresh
Taste and adjust seasoning. Finish with green onions and fresh cilantro just before serving.
Why This Chili Hits Different
⢠Grass-fed beef = better fatty acid profile
⢠Beans + chickpeas = fiber + steady energy
⢠ACV + monk fruit = flavor balance without sugar
⢠Spices = metabolic and anti-inflammatory support
Optional Add-Ons
⢠A spoon of Greek yogurt or cashew cream
⢠Extra cilantro + lime squeeze
⢠Serve over cauliflower rice or enjoy as-is
