Panama City Diving We specialize in recreational & technical dive training, charters, gear, spearfishing, & customer service! Brothers Pat and James own Panama City Diving.

Originally the business was a simple dive charter specializing in wreck and spearfishing trips. Due to its popularity and the need for customers to have reliable access to quality rental gear, the simple operation became a shop too. Despite oil spills, hurricanes, and and the challenges of an unpredictable ocean the business has continued to grow thanks to the many customers that come back and tell their friends how much fun they had.

What a fantastic dive at the jetties during our guided shore dive excursion. Little to no current and 35' of visibility. Sharks, goliaths, lots of gag grouper, and big school of tarpon.

Yesterday we had a great couple of dives on the deeper wrecks. Check out the vis and blue water in 100’! Our Deep Diver Specialty Class performed fantastic, great work Cecil and Darryl! We have spaces available Thursday and Friday but the weekend is filling up. If you want to go diving, you better book those seats soon!

We did it! We enabled the good conditions switch in our attic and diving is great offshore again! Visibility is 30-40’ and temps are still mid 80’s. We have dives running everyday if you want to join us on a charter Guided Shore dives are planned for Thursday and Friday.

Who says you can’t take good fish on regular charters? What a great day for the 3 tank offshore today. Divers had the best day ever diving on spans, tanks, and stage 1!! Vis coming back to the offshore wrecks, today there was 35' of vis and 85° temps on the bottom!!

Another excellent dive day in the Gulf! Everyone aboard the Narcosis enjoyed 30' of viz and temps still in the mid 80's. Black Pearl and Span 14 held Goliath Grouper and tons of aquatic life.... on board smiles, sunshine and the sweetest pineapple on the high seas were bountiful! Even divers from another shop wanted on our boat with this crew!

Today officially marks 10 years since Capt Josh Summerville joined the team here. It’s been a crazy ride with so many memories made along the way. During those years Josh has been the backbone of this business starting as a DM, then manager, and currently as our primary Captain, not to gloss over some time spent as carpenter, plummer, mechanic, janitor, counselor, veterinarian and Friend.

What else do we do at panama city diving but dive on a thursday morning. Today divers explored the black pearl and the hovercraft! Visibility hanging in there at about 25' and the temps on the bottom are 86°F. There are two different octopus in rge video! Watch it all to find them.
