This family has coached for BCYSA in the past, if anyone is able to help out. We wanted to share their information with everyone.

9/29/20. This is from the family that at the house fire in liberty subdivision off of Star Avenue last night these are the things are gonna be needing:

Good morning! I am reaching out asking if you’d be willing to share this info from the family who lost everything in the fire last night in our community. To see if anyone is able to help donate some things for the kids! Info is below- I am leaving names out for privacy

Currently needing some things for my children.
Girl - 7 (2nd grade girl at Bay Haven). Size 13c shoe, size small (khaki and navy skirts preferred) and needs polos for school but anything is appreciated. She loves Barbies, american girl dolls, and squishies. All of her reading books were lost as well.

Boy - 13 (8th grader at Merritt Brown). Size adult small or medium tops and bottoms, size 9 men shoes. He says he doesn’t need anything else, but loves fishing, and his PS4 if anyone has one for sale or any games.

It is hard to think of what to do next, where to start replacing things, where to store them, or where we will even be for the next several months, or even tomorrow, but we are so thankful for the outpouring of love, prayers, and support from our community.

All games at 11:30 and beyond are scheduled on time with the caveat:

U10B field switch from field 11 to field 12

U14G field switch from field 13 to field 14

⚽️ GAME DAY REMINDER ⚽️

Unless you see an official Facebook post/email from BCYSA stating that games have been cancelled, ALL GAMES ARE STILL ON as scheduled.

🌧️ Rain by itself is not typically a reason for games to be cancelled. Lightning and field conditions are what we monitor when determining whether games can safely be played.

If you have not seen a cancellation posted on Facebook and have not received a cancellation email, please plan to show up for your game as scheduled.

⚽️ HELP US KEEP OUR REFEREES FUELED ON SATURDAYS! 🥤🍽️

Our referees spend long Saturdays out at the fields keeping BCYSA games running, and we’d love some help keeping them fed, hydrated, and fueled throughout the day!

We are looking for families, teams, local businesses, or anyone in our community who would like to donate snacks, drinks, breakfast, lunch, or an easy meal for our referees on game days.

Some ideas:
🥤 Bottled water, sports drinks or other drinks
🥨 Individually packaged snacks
🍌 Fruit or fruit trays
🍭 Candy
🧊 Popsicles
🥐 Chick-fil-A breakfast biscuits or other easy breakfast items
🥪 Sandwiches or grab-and-go lunches
🍲 Easy crockpot meals with everything needed to serve them
