The Mowat Mustangs cheer team is hosting a summer camp July 20th-22nd.
MONDAY: Jump Technique + Leg Strength
Warm-Up (5 Minutes)
Jog in place – 1 minute
High knees – 30 seconds
Butt kicks – 30 seconds
Arm circles – 30 seconds
Jumping jacks – 1 minute
Stretching (10 Minutes)
Butterfly stretch
Straddle stretch
Pike stretch
Hip flexor stretch
Calf stretch
Hold each stretch 30 seconds.
Jump Drills

10 T-jumps
10 pencil jumps
10 toe-touch motions
5 toe-touch jumps
Strength
15 squats
15 lunges each leg
20 calf raises
Repeat 3 times.

Let's get this summer training started!! For the next 5 days, I will post a daily workout. You can utilize this same schedule weekly for the whole summer. I will keep them pinned so they are easy to find. My daughter will be doing it as well, and somehow she has talked me in to doing it with her. Take pictures and videos of Day 1 and let's watch their progress grow!!! Can't wait to see the growth!!

If you have a student wanting to try out for school cheer this year, here are the details!!
As we head into tryout season, please remember to allow at least 2-3 months of consistent training to obtain a skill.
Starting this year, all private lessons will come with a customized drill log for the week to help improve/strengthen skills. We are pushing progress this year!! I want to see everyone advance multiple times!!
