๐ง๐ Happy National Automotive Service Technician Day! ๐๐ง
Today weโre giving a huge shoutout to the guys who keep our ambulances rolling and our crews responding when seconds matter โ Richard and Chris!
While our paramedics and EMTs are out serving the community, Richard and Chris are behind the scenes making sure every ambulance, supervisor vehicle, and piece of equipment is ready to go when duty calls. From routine maintenance to unexpected repairs, they tackle every challenge with skill, dedication, and a whole lot of patience.
Letโs be honestโour crews can be pretty hard on vehicles, but somehow these two always manage to keep the fleet mission-ready! ๐๐ช
Their work may not always be in the spotlight, but the impact they have on our operation is felt every single day. Because of their commitment, our teams can focus on what they do best: caring for our community.
Please join us in thanking Richard and Chris for everything they do to keep Lifeguard moving forward!
๐ Thank you, Richard and Chris! We appreciate you today and every day.

First responders are exposed to traumatic events on a daily basis. They say it can be difficult to calm down after facing high-pressure situations.

EMS Week is officially underway, and this yearโs theme โ Improving Outcomes, Together โ could not be more fitting for the incredible team serving the community in Bay County every single day.
As the new Operation Manager, Iโve had the opportunity to see firsthand the dedication, compassion, and professionalism this crew brings to the people of Panama City and Bay County. No matter the task asked of them, whether itโs transporting your loved one, moving our office, or assembling the next thing I have bought and it came with โsome assembly requiredโ instructions โ this team steps forwards and shines.
EMS Week gives us a chance to pause and recognize our frontline crews. Itโs a week focused on the people who make this profession what it is. Itโs also a time when we come together, strengthen bonds, laugh a little, and create memories that last long after the week is over.
Iโm incredibly thankful for this group of professionals. They work hard, care deeply, and make the challenging parts of this job easier through teamwork and commitment to one another.
This week, weโre continuing the fun with games and activities for our crews. So if you see our teams out in the community taking funny photos โ donโt worry, theyโve been sent on a photo scavenger hunt! Theyโre also participating in EMS Week Bingo centered around our Core Values.
Weโd also love for the community to join us for our Open House this Friday, where the Blood Bus will be onsite for a community blood drive. Stop by, say hello, and celebrate EMS Week with us.
To Bay County โ thank you for trusting us and allowing us to serve this community for nearly 15 years. It is an honor we never take for granted. ๐
