We closed the doors tonight.

The last light faded across the turf. The echoes disappeared into the rafters. And for the first time in a long while, The Lab simply rested.

There is something sacred about the space between what has been and what is about to begin.

Tomorrow, the laughter returns.

The sound of soccer balls striking the wall.

The quiet encouragement between teammates.

The coaches who believe a little more in their players than the players believe in themselves.

The dreams that begin with nothing more than a child walking through a doorway carrying a ball under one arm.

Seasons don’t begin with kickoff.

They begin in moments like this—in the stillness, in the anticipation, in the quiet belief that tomorrow can be better than yesterday.

Here’s to another year of becoming.

🩷💙 A little sneak peek…

One of the things we’ve loved about building St. Andrew’s Soccer Club is that every detail has a reason behind it.

Everyone knows our signature pink. But if you know the story of St. Andrew, you know he is the patron saint of Scotland. So we’ve been experimenting with incorporating a touch of Scottish blue into some of our designs as a subtle nod to the club’s namesake.

Nothing is changing—pink will always be part of who we are—but we think this opens the door to some really fun alternate training gear, apparel, and special edition pieces while giving our branding a little more depth and a little more story.

We’ve got a few ideas we’re pretty excited about, and we can’t wait to show you what we’ve been working on.

St. Andrews Soccer Club will be hosting Supplemental Tryouts on August 4 & 6 for players who are still searching for a competitive soccer home. If you’re looking for a club that prioritizes player development, strong coaching, and a positive culture, we’d love to have you come train with us. You can register at standrewssoccerclub.com/registration If you have already been offered a roster spot you do not need to sign up for supplemental tryouts. 😁

The United States is through to the Round of 16, and tonight they’re taking on Belgium with a spot in the World Cup Quarterfinals on the line.

Let’s pack St. Andy’s Pub and cheer on the Red, White & Blue together! There’s nothing like watching a knockout match surrounded by fellow soccer fans.

🇺🇸 Every great story starts with a small group of people who believe things can be better.

Nearly 250 years ago, that belief helped shape a nation.

Just two years ago, a handful of families shared a much smaller dream. They believed our community deserved another opportunity. A place where players could develop, compete, grow, and simply fall in love with the game.

Today, that dream belongs to hundreds of players, parents, coaches, volunteers, and supporters. What started with a few has become something far bigger than any one person.

This Independence Day, we’re grateful for the freedom to dream, to build, and to invest in the next generation.

There are nights you plan for.

And then there are nights that somehow become memories before they’re even over.

The music drifted across the fields. Fireworks cracked somewhere in the distance. The lights stayed on just a little longer. Kids of every age, every background, every skill level, all chasing the same ball. Nobody cared who scored. Nobody cared what team you played for.

For a couple of hours, they just had fun.

It reminded me of The Sandlot—that feeling that “every summer was great… but none of them ever came close to that first one.”

Maybe that’s why open play matters so much.

Because years from now, these kids probably won’t remember the score from some random league game.

But they’ll remember summer nights with friends. They’ll remember laughing until it got dark. They’ll remember hearing fireworks while the game kept going. They’ll remember that, for just a little while, the rest of the world disappeared.

“Man… this is [soccer]. You gotta stop thinking. Just have fun.”

And it felt exactly the way childhood is supposed to feel.
