This Friday 1 July at Beacon Beach Marina will be the annual Freedom Fest beginning at 2PM with a Fireworks show at 9! Please note the following:
- This event is for DoD ID cardholders and guests.
- Beacon Beach Marina boat ramp will be CLOSED on 1 July.
- Outdoor Recreation will be closed for regular business in support of this event.
- Parking is limited to the CYP parking lot, with a shuttle running to Beacon Beach marina beginning at 1:45 PM.
- FREE hot dogs and hamburgers will be served.
- Oasis Sports Lounge will be selling beer. Cash only.
- Grills will not be permitted on the beach during Freedom Fest.
- No glass containers.
- No fireworks or firecrackers are allowed.
- There will be booster club/private organizations hosting activities/games and selling snacks, please bring cash.
- As a reminder, summer at Tyndall is very hot and sunny. Hurricane Michael destroyed the majority of trees and there is limited shade. Please dress appropriately and bring your sunscreen/bug spray, and don't forget to hydrate!
- Water activities and shuttles to Shell Island will begin at 2 PM and will end at 6 PM.
- The Jesse Robert's Band will begin at 6 PM.
- Fireworks will begin at 9 PM.
