Tiger Golf had a busy week this week competing on back to back days. On Tuesday, the Tigers traveled to Newport Country Club where the girls picked up a runner up finish. Kamryn Baughman and Hannah Ramsey (personal best) finished tied for second both shooting 48! With Hannah Gerke and Lena Neighbors right behind them. The Tiger boys finished top 3 with Carter Summers taking 4th place individually. 24 hours later, the Tigers traveled to Eagle Mountain where the boys picked up a runner up finish led by low round Jack Ramsey (41) followed closely by Carter Summers and Asher Doyle. Lena Neighbors finished second overall for the girls shooting a 52 and personal best! It was a great week to be a Tiger!

Pangburn golf battled the heat on Monday taking the win in both the girls (Hannah Ramsey, Hannah Gerke, Lena Neighbors, and Alli McDougal) and boys (Carter Summers, Jack Ramsey, Chance Bratton, Brodie Vernon, and Hudson Holloman.) All of our girls and boys finished top 5 with Carter Summers and Jack Ramsey both setting match personal bests with a 77 and 80 respectively. It was a tiger sweep and that makes it a great day to be a Tiger!!

Big thank you to Thunderbird Country Club for letting the golf team host this past Thursday. The Tiger Girls team (Kamryn Baughman 48, Hannah Ramsey 57, Lena Neighbors 61, Hannah Gerke 57, and Allie McDougal 66) took first place for the second match in a row with Kamryn Baughman taking first and Hannah Ramsey and Hannah Gerke in fourth. The Tiger Boys team (Carter Summers 46, Ethan Ramsey 57, Jack Ramsey 40, Brodie Vernon 60, Chance Bratton 60, Zeke Wilson 61, Hudson Holloman 52, Liam Holloman 56, Ethan Harris 64, and Asher Doyle 56) fell to third with Jack Ramsey finishing 6 in a tough field of 22 golfers. It’s a great YEAR to be a Tiger!

As temperatures heat back up, so do scores on the course. Pangburn Golf was back at it again bringing away a first place finish on the girls side yesterday at Rolling Hills Country Club in Cabot. The girls team (Kamryn Baughman-51, Hannah Ramsey-53, Lena Neighbors-55, and Alli McDougal-66) took home the first place finish with Kamryn, Hannah, and Lena finishing 2nd, 3rd, and 4th respectively. The boys (Carter Summers-46, Jack Ramsey-47, Chance Bratton-59, Asher Doyle-62, and Ethan Harris-68) took on a tough field finishing 3rd overall. It’s a grey day to be a Tiger!

Despite the wet and sloppy conditions, the Pangburn Golf Team Seniors took to the course today in the Lake Area Sports Annual Golf Tournament at Indian Hills Golf Course in Fairfield Bay. The Tigers took home 2 top 5 finishes with Kamryn Baughman (49) and Carter Summers (44) both finishing 4th out of a field of 35 golfers in each division. Ethan Ramsey (53) and Hannah Gerke (65) were right on their heels finishing out a strong day for the Tigers. It’s a great day to be a Tiger!

The Pangburn Tiger golf team started on par yesterday as they opened up their first match of the year at River Oaks in Searcy. Carter Summers finished 3rd overall shooting a 41 with Jack Ramsey right on his heels shooting a 46. On the girls side, Kamryn Baughman went low shooting a 2nd place finish 55 with both teams finishing runner up in the tournament. The Tigers do it again tomorrow as they go to Tannenbaum Country Club. It’s a great year to be a TIGER!
