We’re excited to share that the state of CO eBike voucher program is back! Qualified residents can receive $1000 or more towards a new eBike and the first application period is open right now, until August 31st.
There’s surely some questions about this program so here are a few quick FAQs:
Who can apply?
- Anyone with household income below 80% of the county’s median income; or participation in SNAP, LEAP, Section 8, Medicaid, or other aid programs.
- Only one lifetime rebate is allowed per person, so if you previously received one you can not apply again.
What do I get?
- Those who are selected receive $1000 towards a standard eBike OR $1300 towards a cargo eBike / adaptive eBike.
Where can I use the voucher?
- Right here at La Manzana Cyclery! In addition to other bike shops found on the program webpage.
How do I apply?
- Visit energyoffice.colorado.gov/ebike-rebates for more information and links to apply.
When do I apply?
- The first period is right now from Aug 24 to Aug 31. There will be at least three more application periods: Oct 19-26, Jan 11-18, and March 15-22.
How does the drawing work?
- This program is a random lottery so you are not guaranteed to receive a voucher. If you don’t receive one this time around, you are welcome to apply again!
