Shout out to Carter Glab for being MEPs May athlete of the month.
Fun fact: Carter was MEPs first athlete in 2020 before we even had a legit location. Working on speed and agility in random fields. Something I’ll always remember.
We have had the opportunity to train Carter throughout the years and watch him grow and develop into the man he is today. And if you know him at all, you know what an all around great person he is. He is unbelievably disciplined and we know that has played such a huge part in his successes in all facets of his life.
During his track season this spring, Carter still found time to come in and get extra work in with us. I’ll never forget when he came to train with us right after he finished the Metro track meet (which he won shot put). He had every excuse not to come and he did anyway. That’s exactly who he is! (He of course went on to win state shot put)
We cannot wait to watch you continue to grow in this next chapter of your life. It has been a pleasure to be a small part of it!
Keep being the person you are and many successes will continue to come.
We are so very proud of you!

Check out Tyler Davis demonstrating our vertical jump series during class last week. He PR’d his vertical by ~2 inches this day👀
This series focused on:
• Pogo hops: improving ankle stiffness, timing, and elasticity
• Bench loaded jumps: creating overload and force production
• Banded overspeed jumps: training faster movement and explosiveness
• Vertical testing on the jump mat: measuring progress in real time
Long-term athlete development is about consistency, quality movement, and tracking progress over time. Small improvements add up!

Huge shout out to Brady Shepoka & Adara Fowlkes for being MEP’s April Athletes of the Month!
We’ve had the privilege of training Brady over the past few years.. he’s one of the most curious, friendly, and hardest-working athletes we have. He leaves the gym covered in sweat every workout, truly giving everything he has. He’s made big strides in his movement quality as of late, and we’re so proud to watch all his hard work pay off!
Adara has been training with us consistently over the past 6 months, and her hard work shows every time she’s in class. She’s faster, stronger, jumping higher, and performing at a much higher level than when she started. That progress comes from giving her all every single session, you can see how much it means to her. We are excited to watch her continue to grow!
We are grateful to be your trainers. Congratulations to you both, very well earned💪🏼

Huge shoutout to Max Jungers & Callen Ahrens for being MEP’s March Athletes of the Month!
It’s so easy to talk about what sets these two apart-they’re polite, curious, always eager to learn, and they give their all every time they step into the gym.
Max had a great junior season this year, he’s 6’7” and moves WELL. What stands out even more is how much he continues to improve, & it’s all due to how much he cares and how coachable he is. You can consistently see him applying what we teach in class, and that’s one of the most valuable traits an athlete can have in our eyes.
Callen has been one of our most consistent athletes over the past few months, making steady improvements every step of the way. It’s clear she comes in every day wanting to get better, you can see it in how she listens, learns, and applies.
They both bring such positive energy, and it has a powerful impact on everyone around them. They truly make MEP a better place to be. Keep being the incredible people you are and great things will continue to happen!
Congratulations to you both, very well earned 💪🏼
