Congratulations to all the Paradise high school wrestling Hall of Famer’s!
Many of these wrestlers came up through the Paradise Junior wrestling program in some form & we’re extremely proud of what they did in their wrestling careers, but even more so what they’ve all accomplished since.

Showing technique that works at the highest level is important.
When you think of an arm spin, you think of Greco & Freestyle, but as our coaches have said, it translates to folkstyle also.

We’re going to start posting throwbacks of our coaches getting after it as youngsters.
Coincidentally, this is one of our coaches against a Paradise wrestler.

With the conclusion of the TOC Tournament, our folkstyle season is officially over.
We had four wrestlers qualify, and they all wrestled extremely hard.
Jayme Pezzi – 116 lbs
Jayme made history by becoming our first female qualifier as a second-year wrestler, and she wrestled her heart out. She made both of her opponents work extremely hard and was a threat the entire time. As an eighth grader moving on next year, she is poised to be a serious contender for a section title in the girls’ division.
Avery Stevens – 112 lbs
After having a super tough year and getting into a lot of battles, Avery came into TOCs firing on all cylinders. After fighting hard and getting pinned in his first match, his second match was a total barn burner that could have gone either way. Unfortunately, the momentum swung in our opponent’s favor and he squeaked out the win. As a seventh grader, Avery is poised to do big things next year.
Connor Navarre – 108 lbs
Like many of our wrestlers, this was Connor’s second year wrestling and his first time qualifying for TOCs as an eighth grader. Connor probably wrestled the best he ever has today but unfortunately went 0–2. We are extremely proud of him and excited to see how he continues to improve and what he does at the high school level next year.
Roman Vierra – 89 lbs
Roman wrestled extremely well today. Overall, he went 2–2, losing to the eventual 3rd & 6th placers. We are eager to put in the work this offseason to get him on the podium next year.
All in all, we had a fantastic season, and we’re looking forward to continuing to grow our athletes through wrestling and helping prepare them for life.

There’s a Full-Time & Part-Time option.
Full-time is $150, includes our club singlet & your wrestler has full access to all practices.
Part-time is $100, doesn’t include our club singlet & allows your wrestler to come to 50% of the practices. This is a great option for our wrestlers that compete in play sports in the spring.
