After a not so good showing our first two weekends of travel baseball, we show up ready for our first USSSA qualifier in Clarksville,IN.
Our team went 2-0 in pool play on Saturday, then came back Sunday morning and went 2-0 heading into the championship game against a good Rawlings Tigers team. Our defense spotted them some runs early and our bats didn’t come alive until the last two innings, and we lost 7-5 in the championship game.
I’m proud of these boys because they are learning to fight to the end and not give up because they are being faced with a little adversity. We have this weekend off so we will have two weeks to prepare for our next USSSA qualifier in Louisville in two weeks.

Hopewell Titans missing a special piece today, our big man Wade Roe, move to 6-0 over a tough Boyd County program 37-20!
These kids are still learning the game but developing a competitive fight you can’t teach!
